Tried to claim for damage to contents, it was the usual maze of phone menus that took me first to motor insurance claims, then to household, then to india car insurance then back to uk home insurance. 20 minutes later aig got through and it was nothing more than a guy who filled out the forms and said someone would contact me. Next morning someone did call me and said I had insurance with another company and they would contact me directly. 2 weeks later I received a claim form from a company... (read more)

“Chose Admiral because it was good value for money....”

Chose Admiral because it was good value for money. However, they sent me someone else's policy schedule, with their name, address and value of their contents! Mine was missing, so presuambly they also sent that to the wrong person. Data protection, what data protection?! Sent it back with a letter complaining and never even got a reply, never mind an apology. Fortunately I haven't had to have any other dealings with them, but that alone is enough to prevent me using them again. (read more)
