    Tesco on the whole have been great - I never really had to deal with them yet and hopefully I never will.

    When I bought my first house money was very tight - I really stretched myself to the limit and was the walking example of living on the edge - this was my main motivation for paying the extra for mortgage protection insurance.
    I ended up going with Tesco and I have to say it does let me sleep better at night. My house is probably my biggest ever investment so I'm happy to pay a bit more each month for the added peace of mind.

    They are not too expensive and my payments are covered for up to 2 years if I get ill or loose my job so I should be able to keep everything going if something bad happened. I would definitely recommend that you take out Payment Insurance when you buy your house.
