    Good Points: Away from the high-rise tourism on the Costa Mauresme, northwards close to Palafrugell lies the Costa Brava. Myriad small coves and beaches surrounded by wooded hills and small, family run bars and restaurants dot the coastline. Inland are a host of delightful medieval, sandstone villages worth exploring.
    Using 'Simply Spain' our accommodation in a large three-bedroomed farmhouse (with pool) was delightfully situated in a quiet hamlet close to Palafrugell and the usual amenities and supermarkets and the coast - ideal for a family with small children.


    Bad Points: During the summer beaches will become fairly crowded (even though it is not high-rise); the French and Spanish holiday here.


    General comments: Simply Spain offer excellent accommodation and service for a stay in Costa Brava, Llofriu Casa Aleix (flying into Gerona). The Costa Brava (far north of Lloret de Mar) is a delightful area of interest and variety not suited to those holidaymakers only interested in frying themselves silly and eating pizza with chips!
    A great place to go.
