Good Points: The DVSL-10 makes the perfect companion for any TV or LCD screen. There are many good points to mention here regarding this product that has never let me down. The setup menu and image quality are perhaps the features that I like the most about it. The DVD player is indeed manually operational as well as remote controllable. The simple to use buttons on the front panel allow for ease of use for manual operability. Usually this is quite useful for when batteries in the remote control have runout of power.

Bad Points: There are no bad points to mention here or at least that I can think of.

General comments: Generally I would have to point out that the DVSL-10 is exellent for playing CD, DVD and other formats of disk. It is easy to clean every once in while and indeed this is necessary because exterior and laser lenses can become dusty, greasy and so forth. The designers at SHARP corporation have exelled in terms of their design and overall manufacture of this very unique product.
In terms of its size it is in fact smaller than most players that I have seen. This is good because when you think about it, sometimes spaces can be somewhat limited in cabinets and other areas in which this player and other players go. Worth the money!

Although the documentation refers to the fact that this is a Region 2 only player, there's a multi-region sticker on the box and yes it does play Region 1. (immediately recognises the disc -no hacks required).

The Matrix with it's special features plays fine.
The picture quality is good. The remote is OK, all ...
