Good Points: Easy to use web based quotation service.

General comments: Its 4 Me Car Insurance www.its4me.co.uk - Terrible customer service. After cancellation in writing (for a policy that cost 24 pounds a month) I have had three payments of £81, £141 and £178 taken from my account via my debit card all in one day, forcing me to have to cancel my card just to stop them taking any more. Customer service is unhelpful and I am now having to lodge a complaint with my bank in an attempt to get the money back,

Took out Its 4 Me Car insurance last July, paid in full. Changed my car this March to a brand new model that's where the problem started. Couldn't give me a quote, said would ring back and didn't. This went on for days until it reached a point where I wanted to pick my new car up and I didn't have a cover note. To cut a long story short I rang the insurance company direct on their "special broker line" and the company acted as if he didn't even know there was a problem. I explained the situ ...

Its 4 Me Car Insurance www.its4me.co.uk have horrendous customer service, I first had to battle for over a month to get my policy cancelled, they then re-started my policy without my knowledge and continued to take direct debit payments from my account, and are now refusing to give me a refund unless I yet again provide proof of cancellation.

Took out a policy with them, They then managed to issue two policies for the same car at the same time and charged me twice for the privilege. Trying to get my money back for the incorrectly issued policy has been a nightmare. They don't answer the phone for ages, Pass me round different departments, promise to call me back and never do, etc. I am still waiting for my refund. Never again!

I'm going to cut a long story short, while 6 months 3 days into my insurance policy which cost £5772.89 paid up front, I decided to cancel. I thought it would be simple, a quick phone call saying please cancel and please refund my money. Wrong. First of all I tried calling, they told me "we can't cancel insurance policy without first receiving a letter stating why you'd like to cancel", I did this, 2 weeks later I received a response saying "we need the policy document". I then enclosed th ...

My experience with Its4Me car insurance was traumatic. It started with them charging me for unpaid direct debits. I checked with my bankers and they said the direct debit was active and from their end, no demand was ever made for the direct debit. I called Its4Me several times and the arguments went back and forth. They eventually sent me a letter that my case would be passed to a debt collector so I called them, paid the £25 fine and told them that if they had a conscience, they really sh ...

It seems strange to me that a member of 'Its 4 Me Car Insurance' company could not go to a supervisor and arrange this for me and I find it hard to believe that this is the way they would run your business. Now I feel like I was unimportant as a customer.
Thank you for the opportunity to communicate with you and hope this helps

I have been charged £59.23 for changing vehicles. They have charged me £20 for canceling the policy and an extra £39.23 for extras. I have complained about this, and I just got excuses from Its 4 Me Car Insurance. They say I should be entitled to a refund of £2.30, but they don't gibe a refund on anything under £5. None of these rules are in there terms of condition. They still say they are in there right, so I am currently seeking legal action.

I phoned Its 4 Me car insurance to check if my wife and I are insured, as we have received a schedule, Terms & Conditions and Pre Contract information etc., but no insurance document. I was told we are insured, so I asked to be sent a certificate. The next day a letter arrived saying I would have to pay £10 for a duplicate, so I phoned again asking why I have to pay, as I have not had one in the first place. To which I was told they had sent one, so I would have to pay (and as the computer ...

Turns out if you choose to pay in monthly instalments, they rack up about 26% APR charge for that, not to mention that it is in fine print.

Its 4 Me Car Insurance also charge £20 for each amendment to the policy, which includes change of address. I have moved to a safer area, and in my experience from Natwest, they actually readjusted my insurance and knocked off about £100 for moving from Hatfield, Herts to Guildford, Surrey.

What a nice company to deal with!! I have claimed twice...once for a chipped windscreen and once for my boyfriend crashing my car.

Both times Its 4 Me car insurance were polite, helpful and they talked me through what was going to happen, and when and how much (if anything) it was going to cost me.

This is how customer service should be!

Following a quote on Confused.com on 4/10/06 I applied for a car insurance policy to start that day, and paid by Debit Card online. Unable to print off the documents, I rang Its4Me to ask for advice, and I was told the documents would be posted to me. After a week nothing arrived, and neither had my payment been processed! I rang again to be told there had been a problem with my online application, that it hadn't been processed and that I therefore wasn't covered!! They had tried to contact ...

I had to contact them to send me my cover note and certificate of motor insurance, yet they had no problem taking my money. I spent 17 minutes in the call centre queue for a 2 minute conversion. I'll never do that again.

You have to spend far too much time chasing Its4Me car insurance up for things when they should just send them out to you automatically.

I have had car insurance for over 18 years, so I know what I am doing when it comes to purchasing new policies. I went through the prospective policy details with Its4Me over the phone; got them all confirmed verbally and paid an amount for a Fully Comprehensive Policy.

I was then sent a Third Party Fire and Theft Policy. The Fully Comp policy described to me never existed, but one with a higher excess did. If I wanted the policy specifics described and confirmed to me on the phone it would h ...

Its4Me car insurance were quoted as being the cheapest insurance through confused.com based with the information I provided. I put on the web form that I have no NCB, I then paid by debit card through the internet, then immediately after payment I got an e-mail asking for proof of my 5 years NCB. After speaking to Its4me, I was told I would be charged a cancellation fee.

Tip from me: don't buy over the internet. By all means look at the deals, but then go to a reputable insurance broker on ...

I received a telephone call from Its4Me car insurance after completing an online insurance form where they offered me a policy with an insurance company. I thought it was reasonable so I accepted. The guy on the phone said I could cancel, but he did not mention any cancellation fee. The insurance company would not insure me as my car had alloy wheels on it, so I was left with no alternative but to cancel the policy, and so I rang Its4Me who put me on to another insurance company who would insure ...

I found cheaper car insurance elsewhere having been charged £30 for a change of address. Big mistake! Despite having been a customer of Its4Me car insurance for many years, and having never claimed in that time, I am now being sent letters to say as I've cancelled mid-way through a policy. I have to pay £56 something, and this was on the terms and conditions initially signed. I have just looked on the terms and conditions, and whilst I can see that there is a cancellation fee, I can ...

Initially I thought it was cheap insurance, but I wouldn't recommend Its4Me car insurance to anyone. I wish I had read the reviews first, and I wouldn't have had the headache I have got now! I can't get through to them on the phone. They don't answer emails. I have tried to cancel a policy which hadn't started, and I am having nothing but problems.

I initially chose It's4MeCar Insurance because they were the cheapest result churned up by Confused.com. I gave them a call and paid for the year on a credit card. Everything looked good. About 3 months later I got a letter from them saying they've not received any payment of any kind with regard to my policy. They asked that I call them and pay.

I wrote to them saying that I've already given payment details to one of their employees and won't be doing it over the phone again. I asked fo ...

I would never recommend Its-4-Me car insurance to anyone. All went well whilst I was giving them my business, but when it came to taking my business elsewhere they were EXTREMELY UNCOOPERATIVE.
I have still not received my proof of no claims nearly 1 month after my policy finished.
The new insurer needs this to give me an appropriate discount, but I am unable to obtain it from Its-4-me.

The value of an insurance company only comes to light when you need assistance from them, and Its-4-me ar ...
