Purchased a camera case as part of a bundle. They decided to send me a different one which was nearly twice as big as the camera.
My problems started when I contacted the idiots on the help desk. They were rude and didn't care less about the issue. At one point I was told "what's the problem? The camera still fits in the case doesn't it?"
Don't be attracted by the prices. Buy at your peril. They also trade as camerabox

Excellent service. Ordered Monday, missed an email from them that night so had to ring them on Tuesday morning (11-ish). Delivered Thursday lunchtime to Cork, Southern Ireland. More than pleased with the service, price and delivery. Was a little sceptical on reading some reviews here but in contast to them I have nothing to offer but praise. I'll be back!!!!

Saved 200£ buying from this company..nice prices.
Ordered the camera on a Friday and got it Thursday but thats becuse DHL
only deliver the goods on Thursdays were I live(countryside Sweden)
I was worried reading the reviews and yes track your order doesnt work.
But I got a great camera to a great price.I will shop there again.

Having checked other websites for Canon 580 ex II speedlite prices, digital-cameras.com were significantly cheaper, especially when shipping and exchange rates to Ireland were calculated. However,the reviews on this website certainly didn't inspire too much confidence and nearly discouraged me from ordering from digital-cameras.com completely. In the end though, the prices were too good to miss and I reasoned that many of the dissatisfied customer reviews were related to Christmas orders and so ...

They don't respond to emails and the tracking does not work - constantly says cannot retrieve order information due to high login demand (even at midnight)

Ordered a camcorder 17th December, nothing received yet? Have now canceled my order 3 times to various persons advising be they will refound my money within 5 working days, still no refound received.

After reading all the rewiews here in this forum, I know now I should never have ordered from this company.

Service is a non excisting work for the company, do not respond to mails, do not call back as they promis and you have to wait for hours before they pick up the phone..

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHIN ...

Week after they charged my credit card I didn't get tracking number, they are not answering emails and online 'order tracking' does not work. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

I ordered the Nikon D5000 with twin lenses from DigitalCameras.com or camerabox.co.uk on Sunday last 10th January, 2010, on Monday a customer service agent rang me to confirm my address & method of payment they assured me it would be with me in the next couple of days. !!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE !!! Ordered my husband's Christmas present on 10th Dec, despite 'same day dispatch, next day delivery' had received nothing by 15th Dec, read some reviews on this site so cancelled order and ordered from Amazon (NB Only cost £2 more are arrived within 2days). Ordered Thursday evening got it delivered on Monday to Sweden. Got an DHL tracking number so it could be followed all the way from Oxford. No problems what so ever.

Don't buy from this company!!! Placed order on the 13th dec with next day delivery, didn't turn up. After five days i tried phoning, alway engaged. They don't even answer to emails. I have now been in touch with my bank and will report to trading standards. Hopefully I'll get my money back. If anyone from digital camera company read this review I would just like to say your an absolute disgrace and should not be allowed to trade

Ordered a camera from these guys on the 15th Dec , they promise next day delivery !!! By the 21st Dec still no camera , checked my account the money had been taken out on the 21st . Getting very worried as this was an Xmas present.
Tried all day to get through on their helpline , constantly engaged ( probably other unsatisfied Customers !! ) .
Called my bank about reversing the payment.
I then emailed them , no response , finally at 3.45pm I managed to get thorugh and get an answer phone !! Lef ...

Same experience as others - "in stock" item not delivered "next day" or even 1-2 days later as per Xmas order status or even 11 days later.

No reply to email, phone constantly engaged (I wonder why!) so canceled via on line returns form and also I sent email to confirm.

Will also contact credit card company.

Please please shop elsewhere! My goods are almost two weeks overdue at this point and I cannot get any response from the company by either phone or email. I cannot recommend the use of this company and I very much regret placing the order with them. At this point I have no choice but to contact my card company and put the payment into dispute. I wanted a particular camera for my daughter's 18th birhtday. The company said they had 24 items in stock available for same day dispatch and standard overnight delivery. A week later nothing. So I call, get through after an hour and they say no stock but there will be some on 31st December.

Seems to me this company trades under false pretences. I only went to them because they said they had stock. Now my daughter's not going to have a birthday present. Too late to sort it.

Avoid at all cost! I ordered a camera with a next day delivery. One week later I decided to cancel my order, because after a phone call they said there is no chance to deliver my goods, before I go to holiday. There was no notification about the delay at all. Do not trust them!

I ordered a camera lens from this company as I was attracted by their good prices and claims of fast delivery.

Five days down the line and I still hadn't received my goods and the order status was still at 'processing'. After reading the reviews on this site and discovering that this company also trades under the name 'camerabox.co.uk' which also has terrible reviews, I decided enough was enough and that I wanted to cancel my order and pay a little extra to use a reputable retailer.

what a waste of time this company is, ordered for next day delivery ,it did not arrive i have sent two emails and left two phone messages , in the end phoned my credit card company to stop payment ,i have since ordered a camera from the uk camera store and recieved camera next day, i would avoid digital camera company and all the other names it trades under as you will end up totally pi--ed off

I would not recommend this site. I used it in August and had an excellent service, I received a camera the following day to Dublin. I have ordered two cameras as Christmas presents over a week ago and neither have arrived. The order status is showing as Ordered, awaiting processing. I can not get the company on the phone and they have not replied to my emails, The phone number does not ring and I am extremely concerned. Please do not use if relying on delivery. I am now down over £6 ...
