Been waiting over a month for my order. Money was taken from my account 2 days after I ordered it, after 2 weeks and no lens in sight I emailed to find out where my order was. I was told it had been lost by the courier but a replacement would be sent. 1 week later I had no lens or confirmation that it had been sent, a further email got the reply "will be dispatched in the next 24 hours..." I ordered a Sony camera in febuary half my order was sent complained and was told had I read the terms and conditions by a very rude member of there staff after over ten phone calls 5 emails I got my other half of my camera 8 weeks later this company are a load of s--t do not order any thing from them . Ordered the Canon EOS 600D plus extra batteries and a card, plus a canon zoom and a tokina wide zoom.
Some of my order arrived on around 10th March 2011 (its now April 26th) , the Tokina lens never arrived. Camerabox are treating me like dirt, they can't be bothered to keep me informed, I am at a loss as they have my money and act like i am wasting there time when I call, I am really unhappy being treated like this

Ordered the Canon EOS 550D twin lens package. I ordered and paid for a cannon sx30 on the 6/4/11 and it has still not arrived by 14/4/11. I was told it had been dispatched on the 8th however city link have only contacted me today, 14th to say I may get it tomorrow ?. I have sent a number of emails and contacted the company by phone who do not seem to know where my camera is or when it should arrive. I would'nt buy again from camerabox.

When I ordered the camera just before 06.00pm,it was packaged and shipped from Camerabox,next day followed up by email to say it was despatched.I had chosen the free delivery service.Once the carrier picked up the parcel a working day later I got word of delivery date from City Link with a number if I needed to track it,not required in this case, followed up with e'mail from Camerabox confirming that date.The camera arrived on the third working day as promised within your 2-4 working day... Re Nikon camera with twin lenses bundle. -- Frightening! Got replies to email and phone when ordering and paying. After that,silence on phone. Never picked up or answered. Order process on website was OK
Follow up security was a concern but OK and logistics guy awas apologetic and helpful
Website said goods ready for despatch for two weeks.
After 10 days phoned to find out what was heppening, got Chris from sales. How could he possibly help he is not in logistics so did not know why status was such, I muttered "some service" and he accused me of being abusive. I don't recall such a rude and ignorant approach to a customer before. he then teld me to wait...

I 100% agree ordered on a Friday, phoned first to check stock and confirm that the camera would defo arrive next day, this was promised!!! Gave them my £500 plus told a friend who brought the same camera. Then no camera sat, mon or tues. So I rang 40mins waiting time on the phone... Promised wed!!! Rang wed explained I needed the camera for an event and if they didn't have stock please admit it, again promised camera thurs. Rang fri explained I wanted money back so I could go to a shop to buy thus time a 3rd 40 min wait!!! Got some crap about delivery services not being able to do next day as very busy???? Long story short it nearly tues... Still no camera, email says here tomorrow that's to be seen! Very strange how I was allowed to collect camera from them or delivery company! Camerabox, what a sham!!! I would not use this incompetent company again or ever recommend it to anyone. I ordered a lense on 28th March 2011, and was assured I would receive it within 2 to 5 working days. Ordered camera on 5 April 2011 and was delivered on 11 April 2011 via City Link, not bad. HOWEVER, send lens (55 - 200m) was not delivered with the original bundle I ordered. On the invoice inside the parcel it said 'to follow'! Have used Camerabox previously (about 12 months ago) with great results; excellent customer service, speedy delivery and great value for money! Therefore they were my first choice when spending almost £1,200 on a Canon EOS 60D, lens kit & flash gun. Have to be honest and say I got good service! Emailed a question and got a quick reply, article was despatched and delivered on time (even though City Link left it with a neighbour but didn't knock on our door or leave a note! - not CameraBox's fault.)
Phone line is poor to be fair and doesn't allow you to leave a message when you press 'one' which it says you can.
If I'd read these reviews I probably wouldn't have used them, but as I say, I can't fault the service (though I haven't tried...

I ordered on the Monday and the person I spoke to on the phone promised that my order would arrive by the Friday as delivery was 2-4 days. It was not dispatched from their warehouse until the Friday, despite being in stock, and didn't arrive until the following Tuesday. I am very happy with the goods and the price. However, I can only echo what some other reviewers have said about this company: don't believe any claims made by the staff or on the website regarding delivery times. (read more)

Ordered my camera on 21st March, delivered 5th April. The box was open,the europe service warranty and paper instructions were missing. I question, did I get a second hand camera? This company can not be trusted. they lied about the dispatch of my order, offered very bad customer service, they never answer the phone and will not reply to emails. I have never had a bad experience buying on line before, until I used Camerabox. I placed the order on the 16th March, today is 5th April and I have still not received the order, even though they have taken payment. They do not answer the phone, do not respond to emails. I have now opened a dispute with paypal in order to get my money refunded. I would never use this company again and I would never recommend. They should not be trading. DO NOT BUY from them. I ordered this camera on March 9th and was told to expect delivery by Tuesday 14th March. I waited until Friday before chasing and was told it had been shipped but must have been lost en route by the courier and that they would investigate. I waited another 5 days before contacting by email and received a reply saying they would chase it up. 3 phone calls later I finally received a delivery date of guaranteed delivery for 31st March. Do not order with this company in any circumstance. They do not ship when stated - if in doubt call/email and ask for a tracking number. They will not be able to provide one - as your order has not shipped.
Use credit card and request a chargeback from your bank when not delivered within 2-4 days.

Website says delivery takes 2-4 working days - the camera took 15 days to arrive. Although the money was taken straight away it took a few days for an e mail notification confirming the order and when it would be dispatched to the delivery company. It was not packed in any protective packaging (e.g bubble wrap) but was undamaged on arrival. Luckily the camera worked fine as I would have no confidence trying to get them to honour their warranty. Service was fine! Ordered on 26 March, shipped on 31 March and delivered on 1 April.HOWEVER during the gap before shipping I was unable to track what had happened to my order. Postage was free and the Camera[new model] was a great price with a 5 year warranty. Awful, customer service called repeatedly with no answer and no response to left messages or emails. I purchased my camera last Thursday, 24th April, and it is yet to arrive. I have repeatedly logged on to track it and every day it says the same thing - 'Good News! Your item has passed our security clearance and is currently awaiting despatch'. It has said this since Monday. It is now Friday and nothing has changed which is highly frustrating. The worst company i have ever dealt with! I would reccomend everyone to stay well clear of camerabox,i ordered my sony tx5 3 weeks ago and have been fobbed off with nonsense excuses ever since. It seems now they have sent it but im not going to hold my breath until ive recieved it.

Unfortunately, whilst Camerabox might have agood looking website there is absolutely no customer service to back this up.
Due to the product being inadequately packaged, and shipped only in a city link plastic bag, it was destroyed by the time it reached me (why you would send a £500 camera with no packing is beyond me). I immediately refused delivery and had it returned to them. They received this the next day.

Ordered on the Wednesday, delivered the following Tuesday. I did try to contact them by phone the day after ordering but it kept ringing out so I e-mailed them and got a response under 3 hours later. That was fine as far as I am concerned. I also passed their security check without further contact despite wanting the item delivered to my work's address. I purchased a Sony twin lens camera kit from them but when it arrived I found one of the lenses had been removed from the box and a note hand written on the delivery note saying to follow. I ordered a canon camera for £350. March 2011...waited well over a week for delivery and when I contacted them they said the courier had lost the package. They did send another by express delivery but the one I got was missing instruction manual warranty card etc from the box which made me suspect hat it was a return or display model.
I regret dealing with this company...for another tenner I could have dealt with a reputable outfit like Amazon.

I bought a Fuji S1600 camera at the end of December 2010. I was impressed by the prices and the promises of extended warranty advertised by Camerabox on their website. The camera arrived in the promised delivery time. However, the packaging had been badly damaged in transit - it looked as though it had been crushed under something heavy. My camera arrived to the time notified by both Camera Box and City Link but when ordering, delivery was shown as 2 to 4 days for the free Super Saver delivery but that means when the goods are with the courier. In addition to this review, when I contacted them today 19.05.11 I was told the lens is now out of stock and they do not know when more will arrive. When I was told my initial order was lost their website was still advertising 7 units for sale, but the price had gone up. So they continued to sell the lens at the higher price before sending my order. The only thing they could suggest was to refund my money. God only knows how long this will take. I have been in touch with Citizens Advice and Trading Standards who say Camerabox are in breach of contract by doing this. Please please please avoid ordering from this awful company.
