I've been with streamline for nearly 8 years with an Un-Limited package, however over the last 2 years my subscription has raised by 50%. My site kept being moved to different server without warning, I often lost email connectivity sometimes for upto three days at a time. As for customer service, after raising tickets you can expect anything unto 72 hours for a response. No down time that Im aware of, except on e-mail: I was once one whole day without being able to access my mails. Their support service is only available Monday to Friday, office hours. They are not very fast at responding and often give the impression of copying their answers from a book without reading the question properly first, hence wasting your time and theirs. I had a simple small domain for 12 months with Streamline. Throughout this time I had no technical problems but reading reviews after I signed up I was ever so cautious looking at my bank account and anticipating sending the dreaded "please can I cancel my account" ticket. I would NOT recommend Streamline.net at all. I have been with them for two years and their service is poor communication and unreliable hosting service.
These are the following problems I have experienced:
1.) They respond late to your technical queries and don't offer much help when it comes to technical problems, even basic troubleshooting.
2.) As part of communicating, you are can only send up to two support tickets at a time when contacting them and this is very limited.

They are okay, but there is much better out there. Please read the terms and conditions carefully as you can get caught out.

I've been a customer orf Streamline since 2005. The actual hosting service is very good and I don't think I've ever experienced any problems with downtime of my website. However, Streamline suck when it comes to customer support. They are quite ok for you to speak with a UK based operator when they are selling you something, but when it comes to suppoprt about billing or something else, they farm you off to an operator in the Phillipines. Been with streamline for 3 years. No problems until moving bigger sites over and noticing they run SLOWER from streamline. Then discovered the biggest problem. EMAIL. Very bad! Despite their advertising claiming it's unlimited you ARE limited to 500 emails and 20meg!!! Upgrade for £17 PER MAILBOX and it's still only 5000 and 1gb. No other option. I have been a customer of Streamline for 5 years, originally starting off with 3 sites, now having over 30. They were great to begin with, no problems, very quick at sorting minor issues and offered a fantastic price deal. Very little problem with emails being down and no problem with the sites either. It would always take them days not hours to address any problems I had and even then would rarely have fixed any issue I had. When they finally enptied my gallery without letting me know I changed to somewhere else. Well they have a good online knowledge base but thats about all i can say.
Most of these reviews are true.
I also signed up for three month "free" time and ended up with a 12 month contract.
Long story short, i moved away because you could not pay monthly - i believe you can now so things may be on the up.
Their reply to support questions was reasonably quick

Streamline uses fasthost to provide a service, but the quality of the service is quite poor.
I have been with them for 3 years and I have had countless problems that you would not expect from a professional company.
The costs of the services are cheap, there up time is less that 90% and the servers can be down for a few hours at a time.
The Mail service they offer is unreliable, you will find 99% of you email go to spam, they dont offer SPF records or any control over your domain name or DNS… Read Full Review

I am also with streamline.net as a business and have many problems at peak times with php files being constantly over loaded. I am now moving my website to another server. They told me to move my database to one of there other databases, but would have to do this myself as there is no tool to do this quickly, just because there database gets overloaded, I think they should streamline their clients on that database. Streamline seem to be a good hosting package.The problems begin when you try to cancel the account. I have spent hours trying to contact them, all you get is annoying music played down the phone to you, no one ever answers.Even when you send them an email, they tell you to phone this number, its so frustrating.

.Very cheap, good value web hosting for pure HTML driven websites (i.e. not php)
.Easy to use, comprehensive control panel
.Quick to set up and manage Databases

www.Streamline.net Customer Service - Very Frustrating. The customer service is poor. They use a system of support tickets which when you reply put you to the bottom of the queue.
