    **** WARNING ****

    Streamline are a terrible web host, they will cause you endless headaches with overloaded servers and constant timeouts, their support staff are a bunch of monkeys...avoid them!

    Avoid at all costs.

    This company sums up all that is bad about the internet.

    I have paid for a junk filter that has never been activated despite numerous requests.

    As they insist on keeping your credit card details on file, then they automatically renew your subscription without any notice or warning and when you challenge them about this they still refuse to co-operate.

    IN MY OPINION THIS COMPANY IS OUT TO MAKE A QUICK QUID AND THEY TIE YOU UP IN THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

    I have been with streamline for about 4 years and they have had there ups and downs, not too long I wasn't too happy with them and was going to change hosts (would have been lot's of hassle) But recently I think they have been making real efforts and the service seems to be better.

    They have the latest software installed on their servers and the my sql databases are now actually quite fast.

    Shocking hosting company. Servers completely overloaded which means any search engine crawlers on my website get a lot of 500 errors and so does my membership. My website is small now but I have to move as the servers don't even cope now. Whatever you do don't get locked into a 2 year contract with these guys, unless you intend only to host a one page website about how fluffy your cat is.

    I signed up for a free 3 month trial with Streamline. At the end of that time they helped themselves to £115 out of my bank account without informing me, apparently the charge for 2 years of premium web hosting paid for in advance. When I complained they tried to invoke some small print terms and conditions.

    if you do a bit of research on the web you will find that this is their common practice and Streamline is notorious.

    I am also with streamline.net as a business and have many problems at peak times with php files being constantly over loaded. I am now moving my website to another server. They told me to move my database to one of there other databases, but would have to do this myself as there is no tool to do this quickly, just because there database gets overloaded, I think they should streamline their clients on that database. I have also had problems with overcharging my card and had to get refunded back.

    I have been with Streamline for 7 years where I have several small websites. I have had some misunderstandings with billing in the past but this was resolved curteously and efficiently. They have improved their billing system a lot over the years. Also their support has improved a lot. They have 24/7 telephone support. I used it only once and it was very helpful and curteous. I have occasional problems with PHP, but they react to my support tickets very quickly - even over the weekend and solve ...

    AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! Their customer service is truly awful, they take forever to reply to support tickets and when they do reply it's a standard response from a script. If you ring their expensive 0844 customer service number you wait on hold for ages and when you finally get through their telephone manner is curt and offhand.     Like another reviewer my credit card details had expired and I could only access my site if I paid first. Rediculous. As I thought the fees were high I placed my business elsewhere. Two months later my new credit card has been charged with the outstanding invoice. How did they do that? If you telephone the geographic number you are told you can only ring the 0844 number.     There was a time when i recommended Streamline.net to clients but not after they refused to unlock my domain name for transfer. I've never dealt with such an incompetent bunch of idiots in my life. I mean customer service was just Nil. My site was constantly down and i never once got compensated.     I signed up for web hosting with Streamline a couple of years ago. They took my money and i never got any web hosting. Every email and support ticket to them either never recieved a response or got some fobbed response of "were currently dealing with this".     I rarely write a review about a product or a company. but here i thought i have to do, because i dont want you to commit a big mistake as i did.

    I didnt find one single point that can be listed as an advantage of Streamline.Net.

    if you need support, then you have to wait for days, and dont expect to get the answer, because your question is usually answered with a question.

    it is highly expected that you'll get overcharged.

    you'll have the worst control panal you have ever seen.

    Streamline Net have a 0844 (premium rate) telephone number to call regarding rubbish customer service. This could cost a couple of pounds every time you ring. The website SAY NO TO 0840 lists an alternative cheap rate number.

    I would have rated Streamline.Net No Stars but did not have the option. The worst company I have ever dealt with. I had two websites which I could not publish no matter what I did and I'm an I T manager.

    They then upgraded one account in error without telling me and then DELETED the entire website of the other account. Any service ticket is met with complete lack of understanding, even though I put them in plain English and not 'computerese.'

    Having been with stream line.net since 2005 I had been quite happy with their service until now.

    Most recently they suspended my account as my card details had expired. I tried calling their customer services to renew my account on a lower package (they were charging £137 for a two year unlimited user account), I was informed that I could not do this until I had payed the existing invoice, after reading the reviews here I am not confident that I will be able to downgrade my package and g ...

    STREAMLINE HOSTING HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT EVER!
    As an internet company we deal with many hosting companies and STREAMLINE.NET STREAMLINE HOSTING are the worst we have ever encountered. The support staff are useless and it is impossible to communicate with them to resolve simple matters unless you are already a customer and have an account.

    Streamline seem to be a good hosting package.The problems begin when you try to cancel the account. I have spent hours trying to contact them, all you get is annoying music played down the phone to you, no one ever answers.Even when you send them an email, they tell you to phone this number, its so frustrating.
    I will carry on trying to cancel my account, Wish me luck.
