Good Points: Offers a wealth of recipes for all occasions in easy to use format.
Bad Points: Some of the measurements are a little bit 'off'.
General comments: The Bella Cookbook is a fantastic tool for the starter cook looking for something unusual, easy, quick and tasty. It offers a selection of different recipes for all occasions, including dinner parties, quick lunches, and meals for one. And there's plenty of choice on offer, for those who like to try world cuisine, or those who'd rather just have a different approach to an old favourite. The desserts are particularly tempting.
The recipes are easy to follow and there's always a picture (so you can see how its meant to turn out). The magazine tells you how many calories and how much fat is in each serving, as well as giving guidelines on how long it will take to prepare and cook.
The only problem is that sometimes the measurements for the ingredients are a little bit extravagent (using a teaspoonful of dijon mustard on each pork chop was something of a mistake), but if you're aware of this, and of what your preferences are then you can combat the problem.
All in all a great magazine, that I would highly recommend.
