The hotel wasn't bad, but it was advertised as 4 star when I booked which is laughable. We had a hired car and just used the hotel as a base, so as far as our needs went (bed, clean, basically comfortable), it was fine. (read more)

The hotel is well situated away from all the noise of the pubs and clubs in Protaras, which if needed are only a short ten minute walk away. Both hotel and entertainment staff were brilliant and always went out of their way to speak to you. The pool area was clean and tidy and due to the quantity of pool beds available there was never the sight of holiday makers running down to the pool area at daft o'clock with their towels reserving their beds!
Excellent hotel, especially one for the family.

I went to the hotel for two weeks with 5 other male friends, aged 18-20 and could not fault the hotel. The staff were always polite and helpful, and had a joke with us. The three reps that we had were very very friendly, and always came to see how we were doing during the day. The other holiday goers were of good spirit, and you could easily have a conversation with all people, off all ages. Stayed at Artemis Hotel Apartments for one week all inclusive, in a party of four, and I can honestly say that none of us had any complaints. When I read a couple of the earlier reviews I wondered if I had been at the same place but I suppose everybody is entitled to their opinion. I feel sorry for the management and staff if they read negative reviews like that when (from our experience) they could not be faulted. (read more)

I could go on and on and on. I will finish by saying that we paid £3,000 for 2 adults and 2 children over 8 years ago. It still rankles the value we had. Visited the hotel in 2003 for a quick look (had sense to stay elsewhere this time) and was gobsmacked that nothing looked any different except the pool area. The shrubs had grown considerably thus making the surrounding area smaller. Please, please stay away from this awful hotel (read more)

I go away each year abroad, and I always go all inclusive. I have never made a complaint. Every time has not been perfect, but I have never had anything major and you accept minor faults. The Artemis Hotel Apartments in Protaras is rated a 3*+, but not in my eyes, or in a lot of other families that were there at the same time as us. This holiday cost thousands of pounds and it was not at all good value for money.

My family and friends have just had 2 weeks at the Artemis Hotel Apartments in Protaras, and it was brilliant! We made new friends there, and nobody could find anything to complain about. The food and service were excellent. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were renewed regularly. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
We will definitely be going again. At the end of the day your holiday is what you make it, and ours was fantastic!

We stayed at the Artemis Hotel Apartments in Protaras and we are going back in June this year. The food was excellent, and it was really good for young children. The manager was very helpful.
We would recommend this hotel to everyone! It was great value for money. The rooms were cleaned regularly, and the staff were very friendly.

I visited the Artemis 2 years ago and we are going again soon. Me and my family went there including 2 children aged 5 and 10. The staff were so friendly and the kids had a great time messing about at the kids clubs. There was daily entertainment and I thought it was the best of fun. Some people I knew at the Artemis were moaning about the food, but me and my family thought the world of it! YUM YUM! Shops and bars are just a short walk away and Ayia Napa is a 15 min drive from the hotel.... (read more)

Artemis apartments are very basic but comfortable - hygiene is a very big issue - overflowing bins, cig ends around the pool. Human excrement on the floor in a corridor! Rooms not cleaned reguarly. Bed linen and mattresses stained badly. Towels changed once in ten days!!
Arguments over sunbeds - not enough!
Airtours entertainment useless, using bad language, sick jokes not suitable for kids! Local charges for kids club - when should be All...

We were very unsure about visiting Artemis Hotel Apartments as we had read a variety of mixed reviews, however it was fantastic, we took our three month old daughter with us and the staff were very friendly we could not have possibly wished more from them. The food great. We have stayed in a variety of standard apartments ranging from 2*-5* this is mid range not the best but very far from the worst it's basic but clean.

I visited the Artemis in April for two weeks. I am glad I booked self catering as the food was disgusting. The Cypriot people are very friendly. We stayed in Protaras which is quite boring with not much to do and no nightlife. (read more)

What can I say? Artemis Hotel Apartments are absolutely fantastic, food is great, there is a wide selection for all tastes, and it is in a fabulous location, the only thing I would say is the rooms weren't great, but they are liveable. The Artemis Hotel Apartments is like butlins, brits swearing around the pool, parents fighting etc. Airtours reps are poor. I went with two children, you get what you pay for. My advice would be pick a better class of hotel near the centre. (read more)
