Pros: Light weight Quality built Smooth easy handling Superb accuracy Did I mention the incredible accuracy? 6 shots as fast as you can work the lever. VERY powerful! Adjustable power. On lowest power you get about 50 - 65 good shots Best value for the money. Cons: Rear "peep sight" is useless! Trigger pull could be lighter. Air hog! On high power you get maybe 6 - 12 good shots. I traded for a Sumatra 2500 carbine on yellow forum. Gave a 16 year old Beeman R9 in .177 caliber and...

Hi, my name is Tommy Jonsson from Sweden. It was great that this review was about a 177cal Sumatra carbine ,like mine. Its usual about 22 or 25 cal. Think that the review was great. Taking up everything that is fine to know, before you buy one. Just great. Regards Tommy Jonsson. rebro Sweden.

The Sumatra 2500 500cc 22.cal PCP is THE BEST RIFLE FOR THE MONEY BAR NONE!!! The features include iron sights, and an adjustment wheel on the underside of the gun that lets you adjust the air pressure up or down with only your finger! You can dial it down and shoot it indoors, or dial it to half and shoot light 22 pellets and kill birds, or you can go full power and take small game at 60 to 70 yards. At full power this thing loves the Enjin pellets in 32 grain, accurate enough to give you one shot...

I have owner the Sumatra and the Carbine and they are both powerhouses. he Carbine is the one I kept. I can't tell a difference in power or accuracy, but the carbine is much lighter and easier to walk around with. I also have the .25 caliber. I don't have much experience with the expensive European guns but i can't imagine they can work any better than this. Amazing!...

I bought a EunJin Sumatra 2500, in .22 caliber, last year. Although the rifle looks a bit odd (over-under shot gun barrels, lever action auto loading, revolver type magazine!), it functions superbly. It has enough power to send a heavy pellet supersonic, which is not very neighbor friendly because of the noise. On low power, it will work quickly and with less noise than my spring action RWS 48. On one full charge, you can plink about 40 rounds without noticeable drop in muzzle velocity. I highly...

When I opened the box to my .22 caliber Sumatra 2500 Carbine I couldn't believe that a PCP Carbine so short could have such power and accuracy in a length less than 36 inches. The 16 inch Walther barrel sits on 2 air reservoirs with a capacity of 290 cc. They are supported by a forearm and stock that are made of Malaysian Pearl hardwood. The silver receiver features hunting scenes in graphic relief and is topped with a 3/8 dovetail scope rail. The repeating mechanism is a six shot revolving cylinder...

I purchased my EunJin Sumatra .22 from SS. I have no problems with the rifle. It is topped with a Leapers 4-16 X 56 scope. This rifle has a tremendous amount of power. I was expecting it to have excessive power, but until one fires it, it's difficult envisioning that much power. The price of this rifle is an attractive alternative to the many expensive PCPs on the market. It has excellent value. I didn't find the engraved side plates gaudy or garish. They are not finished in a polished chrome...

Got my EunJin Sumatra used online for $300 with probe. Looked to have been shot less than 200 times. First thing that caught my eye was the awful hunting scene "engraved" on the sideplates. It makes no sense on this type of gun.
Lever action works flawlessly but be ready to exert some arm force since the lever not only rotates the cylinder but also forces a pellet into the breech on the downswing.
Word of caution: Load the pellets from the rear, not the front of the cylinder. For...

I agree with this review because... It's dead on, all sumatra's and careers air rifles are power monsters. Plus their super accurate.

I found this review not helpful because...It contains much misinformation. First you do not load the pellets from the back of the cylinder. The manufacturer clearly states you drop them in SKIRT FIRST from the front.

Second the "blown skirts" are just a figment of his imagination! No pcp has the power to "blow pellets to bits" as he states in his review! Or even "blow the skirts off" as he imagines.

I have one of these guns! Even on highest power with cheapest pellets around I get great accuracy. Yes the gun gets better accuracy with the Eun Jin heavy pellets. Why wouldn't it? These pellets were designed by Eun Jin specifically FOR this gun!!

Your Exactly Right. This guys seems to like providing Misinformation as mine works with Awesome with any pellets.Personally I can't get over this rifle as it's just one sweet shooter! Thanks for calling it as you see it and shooting down this guys review. One thing I hate is someone misinforming new people to this sport.

EunJin Sumatra .22 - Very good build quality, more like a rimfire than a pcp. Great feel, accurate and the 6 shot mag works great. Lovely woodwork and metal finish very nice. Made better than many rifles I have owned in the past. I'm in england so we are limited to 12ftlbs, but very accurate and the lever action is slick and fast....

I was going to buy a career 707 and then pay to have it upgraded. But the EunJin Sumatra .22 is already there. And what a power house. Best accuracy of all my air rifles, probably of all my powder rifles as well. Just a Fluke? If it weren't for the ugly advertising and oversized country of origin markings on the receiver it would definitely be a 10 as it is I give it a reluctant 10, an ugly 10, a cheesy looking 10. Man what a performer though!...

I just got my Sumatra and put about 30 shots thru it. When the gun was pumped up to 3000psi and left that way it was losing air about 1000psi over a weeks time. I just sent the gun back to Pyramid Air for a replacement. Hopefully the new gun will not leak down. But as for performance and looks the gun will not disappoint. I think .22cal is the best compromise in power and shooting cost. A bigger caliber may have more energy but this gun has it all over them with hyper velocity 1300fps and decent...

I've had my Sumatra about two months, and love the gun. It's power is quite amazing, and is ideal if you are hunting game. (Not ideal for small game like sparrows and starlings. Too much power, and it will evicerate them.)
I have put about 400 pellets through it so far, and find it to be very very accurate. ( am using a Swift 4-12X40 scope.)
Nice thing is the price. I picked mine up for $390, not including scope, pump or other accessories. Still a great deal for the money.

I am thinking about this gun also, would you tell me where you found it in the 22 cal.. I have a springer now and want a pcp. Do you use a hand pump and if so how long does it take to fill it up and how much bother is it??? Number of shots per fill etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated.I live in an area where it would be necessary to use a hand pump and that is the only thing holding me back on buying a pcp.
Thanks,
