    Good Points: they are not in my state so i can't kick their ass.

    Bad Points: everything about them.

    General comments: too many problems to list all for skate america. never received everything i ordered for over 3 months. they charge your credit card without authorization or notice for restocking fees or exchanges. had to call them about 6 times in 2 months. you have to pay for shipping to return the wrong items that they send out. they send items one or two at a time so it may take more than 2-3 months to get your stuff, if at all. you probably have to call them a dozen times to try to get you money back but they only give store credits. skateamerica sucks ass. one of the worst online retailers i've ever dealt with.

    These guys are as bad as the reviews say. My son ordered 3 items. One was a pair of shoes, and we come to find out later would not be available for months. So he changed to a different pair of shoes and was charged an additional $3.99. For 2 months the shoes were not shipped. When he emailed them to cancel the order he was told that their policy is to not charge a credit card until the item has shipped.     Skate America is a Horrible company that is as close to being a scam as possible without actually being one. Although I received my shipment on time, an item was missing and another item had been inexplicably swapped for the wrong size. I called customer service and they knew exactly which item they had not sent.     They seem to have good prices at Skate America. 1) I have not received any return phone calls as yet; 2)Response to e-mail inquiries looked "canned" and were not very responsive to the questions I asked; 3) The website states something is immediately available and then, after I ordered something, they sent an e-mail saying it will take an extra 10 days to get the order. Not very impressed.

    My son had ordered some items with his birthday money which was over $100. The site claims 2-3 days processing, well my items were ordered on January 11, 2009 today is January 29, 2009 and we still have not seen our items. The ship date changed 3 times and I am still waiting on response from customer service it is sad how a company can behave this way. I will never order from this site again and will post reveiws everywhere I can helping others to not make the same mistake.

    Terrible customer service. Canned email responses. No email up dates EVERY time they push back and order. I complained and they sent an unexceptable email. I would of liked to have known what you get depends on how they update their site, and they are getting stuff from a warehouse and not their business.     I had the exact experience as person on Dec.18th post. It is almost Christmas and I ordered something with plenty of time for it to ship. Now, with no time to ship, I get an email saying that I need to fax them verification of my home address before they will ship it to me!     I ordered something from Skate America in the beginning of November, got the email stating it would be shipped - I get frustrated and finally look online today only to find out ONE SHIRT I ordered has been DISCONTINUED so they haven't shipped any of it. I then look online and see they are selling the 'Discontinued' shirt under a different SKU!!!These guys are the worst experience in customer service I've ever dealt with.

    My Skate America invoice doesn't appear right hence I'm unable to know the correct total invoice which kinda irritates me.Those aside, my first order in October which amounted to $800+ was all delivered within a month.     I feel I have received terrible service. I have received no e-mail replies, I was three months waiting for an order of 2 items, I cancelled 1 item, so I was charged 90 dollars to ship a 40 dollar pair of trainers... worst online shop I have dealt with. Never never never will I deal with this company again.

    I emailed skateamerica 3 days ago to complain that I had still not received my order and they replied to say that the manufacturer had assured them my item was on it's way.     I ordered once from Skate America (4 shirts) and they changed my shirts out with other ones, over charged me, and took a very long time on shipping! And I thought maybe they just messed up that time, so ignorantly, I ordered more, but NOPE I was wrong, I had the same experience again.

    I was disappointed in SkateAmerica's delivery times. I think their label 'shipping immediately' is misleading. Somehow I was stupid enough to order from them again since my first order was 3 months late (in the spring). But I figured that ordering only items in stock i.e. to be shipped immediately would improve delivery time. I was wrong - again, and I'm highly disappointed at SkateAmerica.

    I placed an order with Skate America on the 8th of august, after waiting a few weeks so that the shoes i wanted were 'in stock' and i still haven't received my order yet, it is now 2nd of october. I only ordered with skate america because i couldn't find the shoes i wanted in the uk and they were the only website i could find that shipped to the uk.     I placed an order and received a package within a week. However, only half of my order arrived and the items that did arrive were incorrect of what I ordered - although I was charged in full.     This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. I placed an order on august 3 for a backpack that my son needed for school in september, after three weeks I called they said it would take another 10 days. Days after I still didn't receive it I called them a third time for them to tell me it was discontinued and I did not receive any communication to tell me this.

    Dealing with Skate America was the worst online shopping experience I've ever had. I did not receive a reply to emails or phone calls. I placed an order 2 months ago, received 3 out of 10 items, and was told some of the remaining items had been discontinued and to choose something else. 3 days ago I told them to cancel the rest of my order and I have still not received a confirmation of the cancellation or any contact, regardless of my pleading for an email or phone call.

    I placed an order with Skate America in June for my sons birthday for over $100 and i still cant get all of the order. I called the customer service number and had to wait for someone to call me back with no answers! So much for my kids shirt, I'm just glad that it was only $15 and not the whole $120.
