    I would NEVER order anything from this fu....g company with THE WORST customer service ever!!!!!! Shipments were not on time, when I ordered shipment of all my items in one box I recieved 9 separate packages!!!! ??????
    I am still waiting on some items I already paid!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY SO I SAY ONE BIG "NO"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would give them zero star if I could. Absolutely worst company ever.....

    I would give this company zero stars if I could. They did not have the shoes in stock despite the website saying "in stock." After a few weeks I start trying to email. However, you can only contact them through the customer service section of their website. I sent SEVERAL emails requesting to cancel when the item did not come.     I placed an international order on skate america. The four items were said to be shipped within a week.
    Two are marked as shipped, yet I did not received them.
    Another one is discontinued.
    Another one is said to be waiting for a backorder.

    I will never order on skate america again.

    This company is in the business of ripping people off. Shipping charges are outrageous. Sent half the order, but charged full amount. Don't order from these guys.

    I thought the site was great, nice stuff and great prices. It didn't turn out so great, sure the site says "colors may very" but its really not noticble unless your looking for it. Ohter than that issue it was still ok, but when I returned something costing me around $42, I on got back $29...I knew their would be some difference, with shipping and all, but not that much. I will give that they have good customer service though.

    I was very surprised when i logged onto skatemaerica.com and saw so many items for so cheap. I immediatley thought to buy new stuff when I could. I ordered 80 dollars worth of product. Then after i ordered i read all of the bad reviews on this website. i was afraid nothing would come. i called them 5 days after i ordered, they said it was supposed to come in tommorow even though that wasnt written in the email. it surely enough came the next day with everything i ordered in the pacakage. i dont ...

    I don't know what everyone is complaining about. SkateAmerica isn't bad, you people just don't know how to read. The issue here is that their website isn't updated too thoroughly. THEY AREN'T TRYING TO SCAM YOU OR STEAL YOUR MONEY. Most of the people on this site have probably ordered something that isn't even made anymore (which is why it was sold off at such a low price), or is out of stock.     Order form says that these shoes ship immediatedly. Had to go back to the site 2 weeks later to find that the delivery date had been changed and was not 2 weeks ahead. Waited until the day after the expected ship date and checked the site and found the date was not 2 weeks in the future. Went to Zappos which said that there were 2 shoes available in the size, ordered them, received a confirmation and they are on thier way.

    Skate America have a lot of cool stuff on the website - except they don't actually have it in the warehouse. I called and was told they take calls in order, so I waited for 20 minutes on the phone (after my order was 2 weeks late) and then was asked to leave a voicemail... Two minutes later I called back, it rang twice, and then was answered right away. I ordered a black sweatshirt on Aug 1st. I got a red one today (August 17). Stay away from them!

    too many problems to list all for skate america. never received everything i ordered for over 3 months. they charge your credit card without authorization or notice for restocking fees or exchanges. had to call them about 6 times in 2 months. you have to pay for shipping to return the wrong items that they send out. they send items one or two at a time so it may take more than 2-3 months to get your stuff, if at all. you probably have to call them a dozen times to try to get you money back ...

    These guys are as bad as the reviews say. My son ordered 3 items. One was a pair of shoes, and we come to find out later would not be available for months. So he changed to a different pair of shoes and was charged an additional $3.99. For 2 months the shoes were not shipped. When he emailed them to cancel the order he was told that their policy is to not charge a credit card until the item has shipped.     Skate America is a Horrible company that is as close to being a scam as possible without actually being one. Although I received my shipment on time, an item was missing and another item had been inexplicably swapped for the wrong size. I called customer service and they knew exactly which item they had not sent.     They seem to have good prices at Skate America.

    1) I have not received any return phone calls as yet; 2)Response to e-mail inquiries looked "canned" and were not very responsive to the questions I asked; 3) The website states something is immediately available and then, after I ordered something, they sent an e-mail saying it will take an extra 10 days to get the order.
    Not very impressed.

    My son had ordered some items with his birthday money which was over $100. The site claims 2-3 days processing, well my items were ordered on January 11, 2009 today is January 29, 2009 and we still have not seen our items. The ship date changed 3 times and I am still waiting on response from customer service it is sad how a company can behave this way. I will never order from this site again and will post reveiws everywhere I can helping others to not make the same mistake.

    Terrible customer service. Canned email responses. No email up dates EVERY time they push back and order. I complained and they sent an unexceptable email.

    I would of liked to have known what you get depends on how they update their site, and they are getting stuff from a warehouse and not their business.     I had the exact experience as person on Dec.18th post. It is almost Christmas and I ordered something with plenty of time for it to ship. Now, with no time to ship, I get an email saying that I need to fax them verification of my home address before they will ship it to me!
