Good Points: Good selection of shoes. Quite cheap.
Bad Points: Poor availability of shoes. Communication
General comments: I placed an order with Skate America on the 8th of august, after waiting a few weeks so that the shoes i wanted were 'in stock' and i still haven't received my order yet, it is now 2nd of october. I only ordered with skate america because i couldn't find the shoes i wanted in the uk and they were the only website i could find that shipped to the uk. I paid roughly $87 for shipping and customs charges etc (more than the shoes cost!) and am extremely annoyed! I received an email about 3 weeks after placing the order telling me my order status was now ready to view and when i looked at it, it said expected to ship in 1 week but it said that for several weeks. Then it changed to an actual date, then another, then it finally changed to 01/10/08. It stayed like that for a long time so i thought finally it might be shipping but i checked it today (it was supposed to ship yesterday) and it has now changed to 9th. I've received no communication apart from a reply to an angry email i sent them and they just told me they were waiting for the shoes from the manufacturer and that they would keep me updated but that was last month and they haven't informed me of any recent changes with the shipping date as of yet.
After what I've read on this site I'm worried that my shoes may not come after all. Does anyone know where i can find ipath centennial shoes green/white/black in a size 5, 5.5 or 6 that ships to the uk!?

I placed an order and received a package within a week. However, only half of my order arrived and the items that did arrive were incorrect of what I ordered - although I was charged in full. I called over a dozen times and was repeatedly sent to voicemail whenever I tried. I emailed as directed and received an email with an FAQ page regarding return policies. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. I placed an order on august 3 for a backpack that my son needed for school in september, after three weeks I called they said it would take another 10 days. Days after I still didn't receive it I called them a third time for them to tell me it was discontinued and I did not receive any communication to tell me this.

Dealing with Skate America was the worst online shopping experience I've ever had. I did not receive a reply to emails or phone calls. I placed an order 2 months ago, received 3 out of 10 items, and was told some of the remaining items had been discontinued and to choose something else. 3 days ago I told them to cancel the rest of my order and I have still not received a confirmation of the cancellation or any contact, regardless of my pleading for an email or phone call.

I placed an order with Skate America in June for my sons birthday for over $100 and i still cant get all of the order. I called the customer service number and had to wait for someone to call me back with no answers! So much for my kids shirt, I'm just glad that it was only $15 and not the whole $120.

I made an order on May 19 to several online companies . All of my orders were delivered within 7 working days except for my order with Skate America. I believe the order has still not been processed. Over a period of 2 months. I have had two items canceled and was told to pick something else that would ship immediately. I did, but they were not received. Late shipment, Never shipped 2/3 parts of my shipment, never responded to my many many emails and calls. Got a call from bank that night to ask if I had really ordered from them.

I think this is among the worst shopping site that I have encounted. The website separated my shipment and charged me twice for the shipping. And it takes weeks before I received my package. And the customer service quality is very very bad. Do not buy from this site.

I liked it for the most part, I will probably be ordering from CCS from now on because I have heard so many bad things about Skateamerica but I ordered and its being delivered. So I got no problem with them.

we live in the netherlands, my son saved for a skateboard deck and clothes, he paid a lot of money ($226,30) and received 2 shirts for this amount. The rest is ?????. A little bit expensive $ 113 per shirt.

I placed and order with Skate America over a year ago and i have still no received it.
I placed an order with them and they did not have my items in stock so they told me to exchange and would not give me a refund.
I placed and order for a pair of shoes and they gave me two different sized shoes and would not exchange them
I ordered a pair of pants and they not only gave me the wrong pants but also the wrong size
They over charged me
All of this happened in one order

Like I said I ordered a whole bunch of stuff and got all of it all within 2 months that the order was placed, I was pleased. Only thing is the colors of clothes won't match the ones they have in photo and the sizes for hoodies is way off.

Wow - should have researched this company before placing an order. Ordered Christmas presents for my son, was charged in full for everything, still have not received three items (about $100) that were on back order and waiting for a credit for an item that was discontinued. Customer service says they're processing it----still waiting

I ordered an item that was stated "in stock and ships immediately". Not until I went back into the site, that I found out my item is not in stock. First I was informed that the they will "order it from the manufacturer and and then ship it out very soon". Then I was told later that it was discontinued. Waste of time.
