Originally booked at Trelawne Manor but as caravan was so old & filthy we were moved to Killigarth Manor. We were upgraded to a gold lodge which was lovely, but the site is in need of total refurbishment. The cabaret was a joke. It didn't start until 10.30pm and was like watching a school show. The prices should reflect the lack of facilities. There is absolutely nothing for teenagers to do. The amusement arcade was terrible. I will never stay in a John Fowler park again.- Read Guest's review (85 words)

Dirty , run down, nothing like brochure made out, had to put febreeze on furnishings because of smell of dogs, people walking dogs to do their business where kids play, play areas dangerous for kids under 5, i have been of 5 previous holidays with the sun £9.50 deals and they were better this holiday cost me £600.
We left Killigarth Manor Holiday Park a day early.
In need of serious modernisation, if i could rate below 1 star i would.
Before i made my purchase i wish i had researc ...- Read Guest's review (96 words)

Holiday date 18th-25th July 2009
We have just returned from a weeks stay at Killigarth Manor.
We stayed in one of the Gold Lodges. I was amazed at how nice this was, lovely and clean and very big, on suite shower room, separate bathroom, washing machine with built in tumble dryer so for a family of 5 i couldn't have asked for more.
This was our first time at Killigarth, previous years we have spent in South Bay in a gold caravan but the Lodge was double the size.
Will be booking again for nex ...- Read yarbertonford's review (160 words)

We stayed at widmouth bay last year and thought it was lovely and so we decided to stay with John Fowler and opted for Killigarth Manor.....WHAT A MISTAKE... the staff were totally unfriendly...the on site engineers were a total disgrace(we needed a light bulb changed at about 8pm in the toilet as it was going dark on our 1st night due to children needing the toilet in the night) should have been checked from housekeeping!!! The stage girl was a disgrace as inbetween every half sentence she was ...- Read clivegrah's review (184 words)

I absolutly loved Killigarth Manor Holiday Park even though we didnt go in peak season everyone was nice to us and we toke our dog and it was lovley. It has been up to now the best John Fowler park we have been to and we have been to quiet alot. We had a silver caravan and the scenery was lovley there were no other caravans near or surrounding us so we could just see for miles and then in the corner you could see the sea was the best by far and thinking of going again. Plus we had a full week o ...- Read LoupyLou123's review (142 words)

We booked with www.polperroholidayhome.co.uk and stayed in a first class caravan with a decked balcony with table & chairs that had uninterrupted panoramic sea and countryside views. Inside the caravan on arrival were complimentory tea and coffee with fresh milk . Freeview digital television and DVD in both the lounge and main double bedroom. En suite , iron & board, washing up liquid, hairdryer, even salt & pepper are some of those all important nice touches which make the experience like ...- Read westviewboy's review (165 words and 1 comment)

I will keep it quick and objective - we had a lovely holiday at Polperro Lodges 'Luxury 3 bedroom self-catering Pine Lodge on Killigarth Manor A John Fowler Holiday Park'.
We had a great holiday but we left 100 quid deposit, on the day of departure we left early.
Later that weekend I phoned them and they asked if it was my family who damaged a door and carpet.
We never damaged the door it was done before we arrived and her husband did the handover so how would she have know,
There was a make ...- Read Guest's review (142 words)

Having bought a lodge at Killigarth just over a year ago I am more than happy with my purchase. However there is a little uncertainty over any future developement of the facilities on the site and this should really be addressed by John Fowler Company.- Read QuietGuy's review (53 words)

I have recently purchased a caravan on site as a base in Cornwall at Killigarth Manor. However when I revisited the site and went back into the club house and take away I realised my mistake. The whole place is outdated and dirty. The exterior is full of weed beds, the children's play area needs re-painting, the tiled floor in the entrance is dirty and needs replacing. The bins outside of the store are cracked and broken. I have made a big mistake buying and sending my grandchildren to this John ...- Read Watkinson's review (101 words and 2 comments)

We booked for 5 nights in October 2006, during the school half term. We took our own touring caravan and found the touring field to be fine, as were the showers and toilets most of the time. But the rest of the John Fowler Killigarth Manor Holiday Park looked very unkempt and run down. The flower beds were full of weeds and hanging baskets were still up but full of dead flowers. The grass was overgrown, and the whole site outside looked tired and uncared for. The outdoor play area was grubby - ...- Read Lucy31's review (502 words)

We have just got back last night from a John Fowler holiday at Killigarth Manor, and it was brilliant! There was loads for the kids to do. Looe and Polpero were lovely, and the entertainment at Killigarth Manor was second-to-none. The Kids were sad to go. The children's entertainers were funny and helpful. We have booked to go back on another John Fowler holiday next year.
The only bad point was the road from the tent and touring site to the club house and shop. You had to be extremely caref ...- Read pamandmeat's review (128 words)

We camped at Manor Holiday Park in summer 2004. It was a lovely site with more character than the usual, row upon row of caravans usually associated with this type of holiday park. It was within easy reach (steep incline walking back up though - get your comfy shoes out!) of Polperro which is a really beautiful fishing village. We had a lovely time and I would definitely recommend this site to all! We are visiting another John Fowler park in May 2005 as we were very impressed with the stan ...- Read malouey's review (97 words)
