How I wish I had read the reviews first! Words like damp, dirty and dangerous sum up the week my family and some friends have just spent there. The downstairs toilet was a disgrace and our first job was to ring reception to get a clean toilet brush! The 8 berth part of the accommodation was a joke! A "pull-out" settee, more like a pull-out death trap. My friends ended up sleeping on the floor instead as it was more comfortable. The swimming pool was only open for 2 hours a day and the shop ...- Read Guest's review (149 words)

Arrived at Perran view after a five and half hour drive to find
a chalet that smelt damp and the first thing my husband done was to clean the toilet and bathroom (as well as remove the dirty underwear left from previous guest).
The mould around the bath put you of having one.
The rest for the iron on the ironing board was complete rusty and the light in the bathroom was so old i think it might have been ilegal.it was an open metal shade with an electric heater ring around it.
The disabled toile ...- Read Guest's review (140 words)

Booked this holiday in Feb 09, for July 13th-July 20th 2009, with John Fowlers. After booking this holiday i decided to read other holiday makers reviews. Most of the reviews i read were very negative, so as you can imagine i was concerned about the area, accommadation and facilities. Basically, i now was'nt looking forward to this holiday and my expectations wern't high. However, when i arrived at Perran View holiday park it wasn't as bad as other people had said it was. OK, it could do with up ...- Read dana15's review (275 words)

too many bad points to mention after traveling for many hours in a car with all you need for two weeks plus your excited kids you dont need delayed booking in time. the Perran View Holiday Park site pub in evening caters only football focased dads while kids run riot in the club while mums try to enjoy their hols. a few years ago we realy enjoyed our holiday at this site serious invetment is needed to update the facilaties in order to compete with all other site organisations in this beautyful c ...- Read Guest's review (108 words)

Whoever built Perran View Holiday Park for holidays had a wicked sense of humour. The grey drab terraced buildings looked more like a run down council estate from the 50's. Our unit was no.13 and if they had bothered to replace the doors where they had been constantly kicked, put a new coat of emulsion on the walls, and renewed the floor coverings they may have started to look cheerful. The beds were clean, but the duvet was too small to cover two people who might move slightly in the night. The ...- Read Guest's review (166 words)

I would not recommend this place. I believe that the whole campsite needs complete refurbishment. In my opinion what is shown on the website does not represent the actual conditions of the site.- Read carolineh's review (61 words)

Staff pleasant at Perran View. Accommodation a disgrace. Smelly and outdated. Not worth even half the price quoted by Fowlers.- Read Guest's review (20 words)
