John Fowler, Devon Coast Holiday Park was awful and i would not reccommend it to anyone. The chalets were unclean and the reception staff need to learn some manners and have lessons in how to smile and dealing with customers.

The whole family could not wait to go home.

Stayed at Combe Martin for 1 week...9th to 15th Aug. Will never ever go again.
Having booked in May and paying upfront, we decided to book another night a week before. We received a formal (hostile) letter stating that the whole holiday would be cancelled if that night was not payed for in advance.

The whole site was discusting, with litter everywhere, mud, unkept lawns etc. The toilets were permanently filthy, with 'scum' in the showers, urine smells, pubic hairs, mold on the walls, and a cl ...

Entertainment for children great. Poor accommodation, cold and uncomfortable. All the older 'units' needed updating, the central heating was ancient and the kitchen tiny - you literally could not swing a cat. Devon is a gorgeous place with plenty of activities for the family, I just would not recommend that you stayed in John Fowler at Ilfracombe!

After a pleasant week at easter at John Fowler (Sandy Glade Burnam on Sea) we thought we would try Devon as a change. We made a big mistake, never again. We didn't complain but most of our block did, some complained and got moved into newer chalets with dvds and showers, wow just shows you. Thank you john fowler we were so looking forward to a nice break.

We have been to the Sandy Glade park in Somerset 5 times now over a 3 year period. My family, just cannot get enough, It is a fantastic park. Chalets are spotlessly clean, and everything you need for cooking is provided. Rooms are big and beds are comfortable, there is also amazing amounts of space for you to hang clothes etc, so no living out of suitcases!
Every time we have been, the entertainment teams have been fantastic. They know exactly how to work with and keep children amused, and we h ...

Me and my family have just been to John Fowlers Sandy Glade Holiday Park in Devon for the first time, and we thought that it was brilliant, and there were a lot of things for the kids. The park is spotlessly clean, as well as the accommodation, and the accommodation was very comfortable. The club house has a lovely bar and seating area, and there is an area at the bar where the kids are not allowed. The entertainment is brilliant for the kids and for the adults. The staff are brilliant with the ...

We have been to The John Fowler Devon Coast Holiday Park twice. The chalets are modern and spotlessly clean, as is the camp overall. Well recommended!
