Good Points: overall it is fun to play with and the gear stick makes it even more fun. The pedals are cool to use because in stead of using the X button on racing games you get to hold down the pedal.

Bad Points: it takes time to adjust the pressure settings on the pedals but once you do it fine. and there is no force feed back or dead zone

    General comments: Gear stick support
In order to activate the gear stick for manual shift, you have to map the function "gear up" and "gear down" to the direction pad "up" and "down" of the analog controller (DUALSHOCK). If the game is not offering free configuration of all buttons, then the gear stick might not work.

    Adjusting the sensitivity
If you adjust the sensitivity by pressing "start" and "direction pad left or right" you get no optical feedback on the wheel and in the game. This feature adjusts the electronics of the wheel and works independent from the game. Try to adjust the sensitivity on a long straight road and you will fell the difference immediately.

    Activating analog pedals
By default, the pedals send out binary signals ( and ). In order to make the pedals work analog, you have to press "start" and at the same time. In the game you have to map the right analog stick of the analog controller (DUALSHOCK) to gas and brake.

    Changing the mode
Modern games select the optimal mode for the wheel automatically, just like it happens with the analog controller (DUALSHOCK or DUALSHOCK2). In this case you are not able to change the mode.

The Speedster 2 is a good wheel overall, but if you're playing a PS2 game with it, remember you have to do a sequence to get the pedals to become analog. Pause the game with the start button and keep it pressed, then press the triangle button and release the start button, resume game and voila! your pedals should be in analog mode now!

    Enjoy

Speedster 2 Steering Wheel - The wheel is very very good indeed, the pedals are not so good. You push the pedals gently and the car goes flat out. I have managed to get the car going how it should when you push the throttle gently and stop slowly, but I don't know what I did to make it do that. Good wheel, but confusing with the pressure sensitive feature.
