    Bad Points: paid 15590 probably worth a grand


    General comments: Had my 2001 Vauxhall Vectra GTS 2.2 DTI from new have covered 151000 miles , other than servicing it regular and replacing tyres etc the car has never missed a beat. If you buy one make sure it has an impecable service history

    Have had my Vauxhall Vectra for 2 years, last year more time in garage than with us, loss of power when driving at 70mph, tool lights on dash. AA called out twice due to faults with ABS, continual engine management problems, most recent work to turbo pipes. Now driving badly in cold weather. Desperate to sell, but have lost £6,000 due to high depreciation, would not buy another one.

    I have been driving new cars for over 25 yrs but this is utter rubbish it`s in the garage more than its on the road it drives bad. The onboard computer fails, it's had a new steering rack at 15000k, the doors won't lock from the remote its noisy the turbo works when it feels like doing the wipers clunk. I have a clunking noise from the front wheels when moving off this car is a nightmare wouldnt touch another 1.

    I bought the Vauxall Vectra GTS 2.2 DTI,known as the Opel Vectra in Poland, The car has an Automatic transmission with AC and full options. I have done 4400 kms in the car and the Power steering has conked out. On inspection they say the pump has to be replaced, and I may have to wait 10 days or more as they have to order the pump from Germany. And they do not have a service car in the meantime, so I have to use a taxi. The car has been designed by a ex Audi designer but the materials used in th ...
