i had seen the place a fair few times driving past and it doesn't look to great a place... its old fashioned looking, i would say however, everything else is fantastic, the food, the service just seemed very relaxed. i would easily recommend the place to a friend with no hesitations. i honestly thought twice about the place before going in as it did look dated and im glad i got past that. lamb shishlack is the best ive had anywhere, rice was spot on, other things were above average in... The Raj is a reasonable restraunt and possibly one of the best in leighton buzzard area, there are few that have not closed down and reopened with a different name.
The food is clean tasting, light and not greasy like a lot of indian restraunts, the pricing is in the middle of the range of leighton buzzard indian restraunts too. Service is polite and fairly speedy.
I would reccomend this place to friends. (read more)

Raj, Linslade, bland, westernised curry. I think it was Cheddar in my Saag Paneer and not paneer, also I suspect frozen veg used a lot. Not really curry, more meat and gravy. Polite staff, old school decor (read more)
