I thought Gran Turiso 3 was good! Gran Turismo has really been revised and well thought out, this is easily the BEST game I have ever bought! A must have for any PS2 owner. Great cars, so many things to change, the smallest tweek is the difference between winning or loosing. Everything in th game has been beautifully done, you wont regret buying GT4 even if you already own or have completed GT3. I personally think the long races are a bit much, as it is hard to find the time for them.

As I recall, I got Gran Tourismo 4 back when it first came out.

I'd previously played Gran Tourismo 3: A Spec and the concept cars version (I can't remember the name) and found them to be very good, so no surprises then when I stuck this into the PS2 - right away I found it to be a slight improvement on its predecessors, but not too much had been changed so there was still the Gran Tourismo feel to the game.

I used to be very addicted to this game, spending every minute allowed on my PS2 ...

Well, I bought this game secondhand off a friend of mine, and for how much I paid for it (£15) I can't complain AT ALL.

There is so much to do! You have a massive choice of cars. There are about 700 in total, ranging from small coupe's, all the way up to GT race cars, from popular car manufacturers across the globe. There are 50 tracks in total, including tracks from original Gran Turismo games, like Super Speedway and Apricot Hill Raceway (my favourite), and also real world tracks like ...

I love Gran Turismo 4 - I haven't got that far in the game but I usually just build up my money in the 'special conditions' races. Here for 2 easy races I can earn about 250,000 credits so after a few times doing that race I can get a good car. What I do now is Drift the cars. That is where I find the game unrealistic. If you turn full lock one way and full throttle in a rear wheel drive high power car with all aids turned off the car does not loose the back end as it would in real life. I paid ...

Gran Turismo 4 is the ultimate driving game. It gives you the closest thing to driving a car with weight distribution, tyre grip, car setup and all the things that effect a car in real life. Let down by being so real it can up dull and no online mode either. Still worth buying for all car fanatics.

Gran Turisimo 4 is the closest to the real thing you'll ever get.
I have spent countless amounts of hours in front of my TV, and still stay mesmorised. This game will stay a legend for a VERY VERY long time. Personally I don't think any other titles will ever supercede this. Fantastic job guys, for slaving your butts off for punters like me.

Gran Turismo 4 is the best racing game ever. The graphics are excellent and the cars are the most realistic I have ever seen in a racing game. When I'm driving it feels almost like a real car. This is by far the best car game. If you haven't already, I suggest you add this gem to your collection.

This is the greatest Gran Turismo 4 so far. The other reviewers already explained why, so I would like to talk about the Endurance Races. They are also great but in more than one way.
    You gain acces when you completed 25% of the game. The races are;

    Grand Valley 300 km
    Laguna Seca 200 miles
    Roadster 4h Endurance
    Tokyo R246 300 km
    Nurburgring 24h (!) Endurance
    Nurburgring 4h Endurance
    Suzuka 1000 miles
    Motegi 8h (!) Endurance
Circuit de la Sarthe ( Le Mans ) 24h (!)
    Circuit de la Sar ...

In comparison to the previous versions of Gran Turismo, Gran Turismo 4 is in a league of its own, with much better graphics and more realistic driving. I got a copy of the game about a week ago and haven't really stopped playing it, it is highly addictive so be aware, but is a great way to kill time. One of many great aspects of this game is the wide range of extremely realistic cars from many different countries and each car is realistically priced with very accurate performance. Another new fe ...

Gran Turismo 4 is a brilliant game with good graphics and lots of cars and tracks. This game has evolved so much since gran turismo 1. 500 odd more cars, 20 odd new tracks. The nurburgring is beast. Try and get round in under 6 minutes.

I was one of those people who had Gran Turismo 4 reserved since the first sign of its production. I have been a racing games fan ever since I bought Gran Turismo for the original Playstation. The graphics on GT4 have surpassed those of GT3. Most people thought that the Playstation 2 couldn't do any better, but it could. The driving is even more realistic than previous games. The overwhelming selection of cars that are present in GT4 helps to advance the feeling of simulation. Also, the addition ...

The all mighty Gran Turismo 4 has finally arrived.

I just had to go out and buy it after reading all the reviews (both positive and negative) and boy was I pleased. It all starts at the counter. Its so exciting. A new game, you unwrap the platic foil and bling it into the PS2. It starts to roll. Boom. Oh boy you notice the mindblowing graphics. It hits you that you've hit gold.

This game has excellent graphics - trust me these will blow your mind. The cars are so detailed and you will be a ...

Although a lot of people rave about Gran Turismo 4 this game, don't even consider purchasing it if you're only vaguely interested in driving games as like it's predecessors it will bore you. I've purchased it for my partner & even watching him play sends me to sleep. Yet for him & his equally petrol headed younger brother (who loves driving games yet cannot be bothered to learn to drive for real) it is the same as catnip to cats. Totally addictive & monopolises the conversation when they aren't ...

Gran Turismo 4 is *okay* and sticks to basic Gran Turismo play. But it needs more game content and not just nice textures and graphics engines. MORE CONTENT.

Gran Turismo 4 - I simply love GTs, all of them, and this is no update of the last. Prologue completely changes the way you approach GT. Although previously they have been very realistic, this teaches you soooo much more. Previously, you would be able to hold huge opposite lock bends, and smoke it round the bend. You really have to remove some of the hooligan element from within you. This requires concentration, to be as quick as you need to be to get good times, it is utter concentration. Every ...
