I have been using this terrible website for a year now and would endorse EVERY negative comment anyone has ever made about it. It is slow, clumsy, cumbersome and incredibly frustrating! Every time you log on you have to enter your full details - it seems incapable of remembering your address or providing anything where you can save them. I have spent the better part of a saturday afternoon trying to log on to this website. It is so painfully slow and is not getting anywhere. The entire security process is extremely painful and even though I have entered the correct details it throws me out. After couple of calls and attempts, I managed to get in and it doesnt get any better. This website is so slow and primitive, it should be shut down. Greedy interest rate. Always goes up even when base rates are low. Will never use them again and I would advise you not to. My card payments balance was just over £6000 everytime I paid £150 it never went below the 6K. The interest at over 21% just killed my payments eventhough I hadn't spent any money.

I have also just had big problems logging in to sainsburys bank despite doing this for a year without problems.
The system locked me out even when I know that the login details were correct. I then couldn't reset my account with the additional data so I called the help desk. They asked me some security questions, one I got wrong so I now have to send all my ID stuff in the post to prove who I am. WHAT A PAIN and how over the top. I would probably not even recommend this shower to an enemy.
I have (now closing) £100k in an internet account since Oct 2009. At that time on 3% interest. I phoned in April 2010 and was told the 3% will continue until Oct 2010. I phone today, 2 Oct and am told the rate went down to 0.45% on 31 March. No communicationm from Sainsburys on this. Absolutely disgraceful.

Have recently opened an account. Registered to get on-line access, but then when I tried to access the account to check the deposit had been credited, it said the security information was wrong. I called the help desk, who just said I had to re-send all the identification documentation and they would re-set the account. Just joined the bank,, so far the security to log on seems complicated also when logging on there is no link identified for you to access your account you have to go through the registration link, this is not good.

I am very glad to read that other people are having trouble logging on to their accounts. Every time I try, it tells me my answers don't match their records. We chose this account because of the interest rate, but now I'm not sure what to do and don't even know whether my money is still there! I have found this product very secure and in the past quite difficult to use but more recently very efficient and understand the secxurity much more. I found this service absolutely dreadful. Many times I have tried to log in, with no success. I have received letters telling me that there are problems at Head Office and that they will shortly be sorted. That was some time ago. I am still unable to access my account, so have decided to close it.

I had difficulty getting anywhere with my complaint to 0500 40 50 60 about not being able to purchase on-line with my Sainsbury Bank Mastercard. All went well until I reached payment stage when I had to quote details of my 3D Secure cover. Sainsbury`s have no concern for their 'customers' whtsoever. Automated 'push button this and push button that' with no chance to speak to a human. But why bother to employ people when they cost money when an automated system is cheap.

Still hanging on hoping that someone will answer my phone calls - 15 minutes so far - third occasion of trying on separate days - always give message re very high call volumes and at least 20 minute wait - is this deliberate? I started the process of opening an on-line savings account over a month a ago. Still not heard anything from them. Three weeks ago I received a letter (the third!) saying that 'unable to verify my identity electronically'. I telephoned and spoke to an operative and explained that I had already sent the documents requested.
