Been with the Co-op since 1996. Their Business Banking for about 8 years has been diabolical. Very often it doesn't work at all. At best it is slow. I have received MANY "Service awards" of £25. Avoid like the plague !

Similar to all the other reviews I am in disbelief at the awfulness of the Co op banks internet banking.
Just some of my gripes:
-I am regularly unable to log on to my account out of business hours, unbelievable
-I regularly get errors that throw me out of the account
-I try it on all browsers and it is awful on all of them
-It is clunky and feels like a student has programmed it and it is still in a beta testing stage as it is so basic compared to all the other banks
I wrote to the coop a ...- Read gazbogazbo's review (180 words)

I've been a business customer for over a year. The website is truly pathetic and archaic - see comments above. I love their ethics, but despise their website. If you need speedy access - stay well clear.- Read Guest's review (37 words)

I'm a business customer of the co-op and I am appalled at their poor policies, obnoxious staff and find it incredible that they force customers to use their premium rate phone lines to resolve issues.
Their internet banking security poilcy forces customers to frequently change passwords (thats when it does work) and if you don't login to your account you get blocked out and have to ring a premium phone nuber 0870.
After waiting 6 mins (at 10p per minute), i gave up and rang their 0845 number ...- Read Guest's review (185 words)

I use the Co-op for internet business banking.
The system constantly crashes with 'Corba' no resource errors after I have entered things like payment details - very frustrating.
The site is painfully slow and I once had to complain because when I logged in I saw details of another persons bank account.
Avoid at ALL costs.- Read Guest's review (56 words)

This year the coop bank has been particularly annoying. For their convenience, they closed a particular type of account I'd been using for many years. For their convenience, they introduced a code machine that you have to carry with you if you want to use their online banking. I'm wondering when the Coop's little enigma code generator will be replaced by even more hoops for we customers to jump through because they can't make their existing technology work. If you have a choice,I'd keep away ...- Read Guest's review (90 words)

The bank seems decent enough, branch staff are very friendly, but they are really let down by a bad online banking service. All I need my Internet Banking to do is tell me my recent transactions, balance and available balance. It manages the first two, but the available balance doesn't include spends which are still in transit! The only way to find out your actual available balance is to go to a cash machine which seems crazy. Other banks manage it - why can't the Co-Op!
I want to move all my m ...- Read Guest's review (112 words)

Co-operative Bank Internet Banking used to be okay until they introduced a gadget called a "Card reader" that you must have in your hand, and your actual card , in order to transfer funds. One must enter additional codes generated by the Card Reader in order to use their account. This takes ages !
All in the name of security ! but not in the name of convenience....- Read Guest's review (65 words)

My thought pattern regarding Co-Operative Bank Internet Banking Navigation is NIL.. each time I ask to "log-in" to my account I am given pages of advertising. Also I object considerably to the "new" style of the phone banking sytem( a message before selection of service required, another pitch to "sell" banking products, cheap money-making UNETHICAL selling point. At all times I must say the call centre staff are as helpful as can be be these "cheap selling" slots are not necessary. All I as ...- Read Guest's review (211 words)

The Co-operative Bank are generally good, no major issues. They have good security and have access to all accounts. Although internet banking is not very user friendly for log-in. Can't e-mail or discuss specific issues on-line.- Read ianampleford's review (36 words)

They make a big point about listening to customers, but if nothing ever changes, they are just like all the other banks. An immovable monolith.
Co-operative Bank's Internet Banking website is awful, with poor, clumsy navigation, the inability to download information and the screen re-sizes to the size of the screen, making navigation even harder.- Read Cyborg421's review (59 words)

Had to call The Co-operative bank (www.co-operative.co.uk) as I did not receive my monthly statement. Spent ages on hold waiting to speak to them. When I managed to speak to someone and explained the situation they said I had to pay £5 to receive a duplicate statement despite not getting the original!!! I explained I wasn't happy with this but they refused to relent. Slightly disappointted in their customer service and have noted this against them when I apply for Financial services in the ...- Read CitiHunter's review (129 words)
