    We decided to buy a number plate for our dad's birthday. Wasn't too sure how to go about it but after calling several companies we decided to go with regtransfers.co.uk. The salesperson was polite on the phone even though we took ages. There were a few options so he sent a list to my email. When we eventually chose the one we liked and could afford, there wasn't that much to do, he took us through the process and it was quite easy. We got the plates in time for my dad's birthday and he loved them!

    Very poor communications advised conflicting stories in regard to my purchase, did not return calls, They were happy to take all my money,they were not transparent.Im most dissatisfied with their service beware. still not resolved the issue and not received number or refund! Avoid

    RegTransfers -Con artist transfers more like, this company is trying to sell a plate that i own on retention you would'nt beleive my suprise when i saw it for sale on their website.I own a peculiar number RT ring the dvla to see if its available, if its on retention they advertise it without the owners permission,once a customer has paid for that number they'll be strung along until they settle for something else.     I would just like to send a big thank you to the staff at Regtransfers for their efficient handling of my purchase. This registration was bought as a present for my son and he was thrilled to bits with the number (we had also bought him a new car for his 17th birthday but he was more impressed with the number plate!). I hope to use Regtransfers again when it's my other sons 17th in a few years time.

    I've bought a number of numbers from Regtransfers now as I own a fleet of vehicles running music equipment around the country for music shows of all kinds. With my range of jet black vehicles the number plates really finish the fleet off with music related names and phrases. With my fleet expanding to HGV's for stage transportation I was looking for something special for my two hugh juggernaughts and a helpful salesperson managed to find a perfect twosome.     I have now sent in 2 to 3 requests for a valuation on my number plate but have received no reply as yet. This is now getting to me, the website was great but the response I have received is not very good. I WOULD LIKE SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME SOON. I have not made a purchase, I want to sell my reg, plate and i am still waiting for a reply to my request for a valuation from Regtransfers.

    Regtransfers provided a quick and efficient service and at a decent price. The only draw back was that although they can supply the acrylic plates (the actual plastic plates) they say they cannot supply them with any different fonts or spaced closer together as they have to be spaced properly according to the DVLA. This meant I got the acrylic plates from another company.

    Brilliant advice regarding my current registration which Regtransfers said to keep on certificate. Ok there are fees involved but when the plate is worth over a grand it's well worth doing and they have also put it up for sale on their site.

    They sorted out all the paperwork for me which included putting the new registration on my vehicle and taking the old one of and putting it on certificate. They also chipped the seller down on price to bring it within my price range too, which means they ...

    I got a nice banging plate from Regtransfers. Looks great on me motor innit. Nuff respect to those guys coz they sorted me out and gave me no hassles. All me boys are now well jealous that ive got a sweet private plate and they just got wot came on there motor.

    Great service and knowledgable staff with Regtransfers. I bought 3 private registrations for my business and they managed to find me some 'dateless' numbers in sequence. Needless to say my work drivers always come back in the office to say they have had comments on them.

    I haven't really got any bad comments to say. Great stuff.

    I thought the service on offer at Reg Transfers was top notch. The staff explained the process of buying a private registration and how I go about putting it on my brand new car so well that even I understood what they were talking about. The only thing that went a little wrong was that my log book was delayed by the postal strikes but other than that top marks for speed and helpfullness.

    Regtransfers is very good indeed.I am a number plates collector with a wide experience of buying from UK dealers and I can tell you that this is one of the most reliable outfits in the business. I have bought half a dozen plates from Regtransfers in the last couple of years, one just 3 weeks ago. Service has always been tops. Really nice people to deal with.I've NEVER had a bad experience with this company. Wish I could say that about some of the others.

    Extremely bad communication, regtransfers.co.uk have had my money for over a month and they do not have the number plate but at the time of purchase "they had a good relationship with the seller"

    Tried to purchase a registration from Reg Transfers . After paying the price in full and submitting the documentation there then ceased to be any communication from RT. It transpired 5 weeks later after a lot of chasing that the purchase had fallen thru. Monies were subsequently refunded with out issue. Annoyingly during the time I was waiting for finalisation of the transfer I was still getting call from RT re different numbers but with no knowledge of the progress on my actual purchase.     Reg Transfers are very happy to sell you a number plate at a competitive price and they process the payment and delivery in a timely fashionHOWEVER, when you have any issues or changes that occur, there customer service is extremely poor.     Seeing some of the comments made before, I am pretty sure that delays only occur when number plate companies are selling pn behalf of members of the public rather than from stock - I've had this delay happen equally with all companies when buying privately owned regs. The problem is that some of the owners are so slow and disorganized that the company ends up as frustrated as we the buyer - and it is them who gets the blame when it's not their fault!

    I bought my plate direct from regtransfers and had no trouble at all. Unfortunately it seems those below have bought from private sellers using regtransfers to advertise their plates so delays may well be hold ups with them not reg transfers. My experience was of a professional helpful company, agreed it takes a while to search through what you want but thats part of the fun is it not??? :-)

    I told them that I had seen the number cheaper on another site. Regtransfers let me have it for the same price, no problem. I have bought quite a few numbers over the years and this is the first company who have actually honoured their price-matching promise. Others have just made excuses.

    Regtransfers had the number plate I wanted and I thought I was buying from a good company, but once they had my money, they didn't want to know. The plate took ages to arrive. I would not recommend this company.

    Not content with continually fobbing us off with what can be best described as "half truths" and "waffle", we never actually recieved the plate that we paid for nearly three months previously. It appears the donor vehicle was in a lock up somewhere with the owner away in the forces and the Department of Transport apparently want to inspect it (the MOT expires shortly too). This final explanation was completely different to the previous "stories" told (quite eloquentley) by several other members ...
