Good Points: Produces authentic tasting espresso, and other associated coffee options, using the froth wand.
Bad Points: The heating element will last two years and then the machine will leak.
General comments: I am purchasing another Dualit D889, on the basis that I can get one for £108, as it will cost £60 to repair my old one!
Dualit have a special 'on line' offer on this model.

The Dualit D889 espresso machine makes some of the best espresso that I've ever tasted. It produces 2oz of excellent coffee with lovely flavour and a good crema. That's what I bought it for. As far as coffee production is concerned, the only poor point is that it would often run out of steam and need re-heating before my milk was properly heated.
For the money, it is pretty good value if all you want is good coffee. If you're looking for a style icon, this probably isn't it. The steel face pl ...
