Good Points: Excellent soundstage for a speaker of this size/price.
Imaging is clear and clean.
Performance in upper bass and midrange frequencies is where they shine.
Listener fatigue takes a long time because highs are not overpronounced.
Look fantastic with grills off.
Superb value if you can find them.
Bad Points: Need an subwoofer to accompany them if low/lots bass is what you want.
Highs aren't as pronounced as some would like.
Not really efficient.
Might be hard to find.
General comments: If you've never listened to high quality speakers before, these little guys will amaze you. The Mission 750LE do precisely what they are intended to, providing good soundstaging and imaging in a small package. With live recordings they sound fantastic. High frequencies are somewhat rolled off, but this isn't too much of a concern for me, since overpronounced treble gives me listener fatigue. A subwoofer will fill out the low bass that their small size is not adequate for. I had a choice between Mission's M73's (tower) or the 750's. Since I am low on space, my decision was to get 750's + sub. They aren't comparable with speakers in the > 1000$ category, but then, I got them for 300$. When released, cost was ~700$ (Canadian dollars). Mission has since replaced these speakers with a new model, the 780's. In my opinion, the 750's are a little nicer. However, if you can pick up a set of 750's somewhere, you will be laughing all the way home. You should be able to get them for a real deal like I did, and there isn't a set of speakers at that price which will compare.
