  Braun AromaPassion makes bitter coffee - because the water temperature is too high. Also the warming plate is too hot so it cooks the coffee if it is left to stand. Not as good as a £15 machine it replaced. Water filters expensive and no noticable difference to the taste of the coffeee.

  We love coffee, and prior to purchasing the Braun KF550 coffee maker, no coffee machine has so far been up to making at least two brews a day, every day for more than about 18 months. I tried a cheap one, but the coffee was foul, so I got a refund and went elsewhere to buy the Braun. Everything on it feels well made and smooth, so easy to use (good job, because mine didn't have an instruction book with it!) and makes wonderful coffee with the minimum of fuss. Just what you need!
