I owned 2.Deluxe and non-Deluxe.Super easy to set up.Great value and features. You can overclock the hell out of these boards with aftermarket CPU cooling and volt mods. The only thing I didn't like about this Asus board was the limited CPU and Memory voltage in the BIOS.Also no Northbridge voltage adjustments. But you can fix that by Googling "Uber BIOS" (1008 or 1009 With CPC off for a higher Front Side Bus)find the download,Flash it, and your set. Also, if you do Overclock it make sure you have a good Power Supply with strong +5 volt rails.

I have had this motherboard for a few year,s now. I have just updated the bios via HP website, although even without the update it was good. I have had no problem's with this board. Most of the hardware update's for this board are available from the HP website and they have an online scan to detect what drive's are needed. I did just have to buy a bios battery yesterday, so now my time and date are correct on each boot. The battery only cost £2 in the UK.. It take's upto 2 GIG of RAM so wi ...- Read Jelly Bean's review (202 words)

I bought an ASUS A7N8X motherboard and I had a problem with the BIOS after a few months, but my local computer shop downloaded an update and sorted out the problem. Unfortunately after reformatting the Hard Disk Drive and wiping it clean, I now can't get the system to reload the operating system (XP Pro). I keep getting the error message... (VNETBIOS.VXE). Can anyone help and tell me how I can sort it out? Thanks- Read jimmac's review (86 words)

Fault has arisen after only 6 months:
"System Failed CPU Test" repeats continuously. Therefore, I now cannot use any application requiring sound. Now looking for a new motherboard. £100 down the drain!
From researching on the internet, this is a relatively common fault. Stay away from this MB!- Read benjc's review (51 words)

Of all the PCs that I have assembled, the Asus A7N8X one was the easiest. The processor installed easily and the intelligence on the board was great leaving out the need to search and set jumpers. Operates very fast - used to calculate FFTs and does so effortlessly in real time.- Read leebarrett's review (68 words)
