    Good Points: high quality food - Prawn Puri is a must for any fish lovers


    Bad Points: None...


    General comments: I give Essence Of The East 10/10 because apart from the service being excellent, so was the ambience and the service by the owner himself. Nothing was too much for them... The food was very tasty and well presented, I don't think we wasted anything.

    We left clean plates as the food was deliciousssss.

    The essence of the east has the kindest staff and has the best food of all times. They have the best staff in the chadwell heath. I normally have chicken tikka masarla and always leave a tip for the staff.

    We went to Essence Of The East after reading everyone else's great reviews! Indeed - it is as good as they say. The decor is funky with framed prints of celebs who have either eaten in the restaurant or who are known by the owners. The food was great, nothing was a bother for them. It was nice and quiet being a Monday night. We will definitely be going back some time soon. I would thoroughly recommend this place, trust me - you won't go wrong in here - take my word!

    A different approach to the typical Indian restaurant. The decor I have not experienced in any other, the service is very good and the music that they play is not the typical boring stuff. The most important thing is that the whole package is not a gimmick, you don't just get good atmosphere and service the food is sublime! It's consistently of a high quality and is probably the best Indian restaurant in terms off the usual criteria being met. i.e food, price and service. One to definitely exper ...

    At Essence Of The East, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was lively with good music and friendly staff, but it took 20 minutes for someone to take our order and then waited 45 minutes for our food, but it was worth the wait!

    Essence Of The East in Chadwell Heath has excellent food, good atmosphere and good decor, however it is annoying with the waiters bugging us for drinks throughout meal, and clearing dishes while we were still eating, one of which was not finished! Good restaurant, would recommend!

    Essence Of The East is the best Indian I've ever had, truthfully. I love the food, love the atmosphere and the new decorations look fab! Abby, you've done a good job and all you guys who work there! Well done.

    Essence Of the East is one of the best curry house's I have experinced! The staff are so friendly. The manager is a top guy who knows what you want even before you do!!
    Your never left wanting.
    A very recent make over has made it even better.
