Good Points: A sturdy workhorse. Had a good Leica feel when the lens comes to focus.
Bad Points: As a former user of 35mm Leica bodies and excellent lenses, the quality of the lens on this camera doesn't come anywhere close to what a Leica lens can be. I was sorely disappointed
General comments: I paid $40 for a used Panasonic Lumix DMC-F7 and wouldn't pay that much again. I have a Fuji A205 that cost $69 NEW and the lens on it is just plain crisp and nice compared to the F7.

I think the Panasonic Lumix DMC-F7 was a good camera at its time, but today (2008) is highly outdated. Yet it is compact and can take good pictures if its conditions are met - either good daylight, or low light
