Good Points: there are some decent downloads available.
Bad Points: No smut filters...you never know what you're getting. you can download a song by Celine Dion and get a adult film instead. There are better deals online. also, it's impossible to reach anyone to address any issues, either. there is NO customer service. the selection is not as great as they claim, either. i couldn't believe how many times i tried to find a song or movie and it just was not there.

There are some decent downloads available.
The recurring price was pretty bad...especially since it showed up on my phone bill instead of on my bankcard. there is another service that has a one time fee and once it's paid, you are set for life.

It looks like 247 Downloads are not even offering the service any more, just trying to deflect refund requests. We are SUCH a bunch of suckers!!!!!

Can't stop receiving emails from them. I go to their unsubscribe page that is included in their email footer and it takes me nowhere.... Does anyone know how to stop the email spam from coming in?

Really ennoyed that i have been had.
Like all the others which have been sucked in, I paid by credit card up front for two years free music and waited for my user name and password to continue. It never came....
My only hope now is that my credit card company will help at least to stop this happening to any one else or at the very best get my money back.

I signed up to this site in June 2006, and I am still waiting for their 15 minutes to end so I can get the so-called password to use it. I have sent so many e-mails to them about this and I get nothing back from them. I have constantly demanded my money back and I get no reply.

Like so many of you, I've been conned by 247 Downloads. I paid for 2 years up front by credit card and didn't download a single track. I've got a university degree in advanced maths, but that level of logic clearly isn't enough to work out how to use their software. All I wanted was to type in a track, or the name of a band and press a button and get my results - is that rocket science? Limewire do it for free. I feel gutted and wish that something could be done to close these down.

This is a SCAM! I joined 247 Downloads using my credit card & was charged 2x as no confirmation email was sent by company. I called many times with no reply back, emailing was a waste of time!
Only after complaining to NY Attorney General's office (cause they've been in news taking other scammers to court and company is based in NY state) & registering complaint with NY BBB did I get a refund back to my credit card!

I have had all the same problems as previous 247 Downloads review details. Fortunately I only did the transaction this morning so my payment with my credit card company is pending just 2 hours later. My credit card co. refused to stop the payment going through so I have reported my credit card details stolen and cancelled my cards to prevent the pending payment from completing. Do not pay for 247 Downloads service! It is a total rip off/con. Like everyone else I should have researched it a bit more before I was parted with my money!
It sounded good and I thought I was on to a winner, however when I paid (two years subscription up front) I was then told my user name etc would be emailed to me in 15 minutes, well I'm still waiting! It's a complete con!

Well I wouldn't recommend 247 Downloads to anyone.
It's a total waste of money and the most nasty thing about it is there's no refund once you've paid. This site has no support no customer care it's just an automated site which should be removed or banned coz of lies.

247 Downloads,which is totally impossible,I emailed 7 times,ask for my money to be returned, I still haven't heard from them.I haven't downloaded one song from this site. Save your money and stay away.

I was using Napster and thought I would try something different. I read one review on 24/7 Download that was good and looked no further. BIG ERROR on my part. If I had come to this sight first, I would have save myself a big head ache. No tech support. All responses from customer service were canned no matter what you complain was about. I should have known it was a waste of money when 247 downloads wanted payment for all 24 months, under the premise it was for my convenience. I can't understand how they can get a five star rating on websites such as MP3 Download Review and MP3 Review.net. Lesson learned: In the future, I will only buy products based on real consumer's reviews, not so called experts.

I entered my credit card details and 247 downloads charged me twice (no confirmation email received at all from them). There is no customer service or support, and their phone is a pre-recorded device. They will not ring you back.

Thank you OMitchell, I read your review advising me of the 1-800 # for iPay. They stated they were going to give me a refund and gave me a confirmation #. Finally!!!! I also paid to have the 24/7 Download service before reading reviews on this website. When I clicked on submit payment information, I never received anything further- no password, user name or instructions on what to do next. Having just spent the best part of 2 hours on the phone to my credit card company regarding 247 downloads, we have managed to get hold of a phone number for 247 downloads card processors... The number is 0018666094729. This was attached to the payment and was answered, and they have refunded all the money!

247 downloads never send a confirmation email. There is no support, and no one ever answers the phone. I have sent 3 emails and still had no reply!!
I wish I had found The Review Centre first!!

I too signed up for 247 Downloads. I entered my credit card details 3 times as it kept failing (transaction could not be processed) and got charged 3 times!
I have emailed them almost every day (their phone is only a pre-recorded device), and eventually I got 1 transaction refunded. I am still waiting for the others. I also cancelled my subscription as their software is useless. Or at least it's not very user friendly. Maybe those who wrote it know how to work it. I have used Napster before, ...
