    Good Points: None

General comments: They sneak in a monthly $9.88 charge for spyware. I so erred in not checking my credit card bill monthly for strange charges. This has been happening for months! I have called for two months now to cancel and they haven't done it.

Great site! A little work to get software installed, but once you do, it's the easiest to operate. I am not sure why all these bad reviews. I have had a ball reviewing old music I haven't heard in years. MP3 Download HQ are more than happy to walk you through the set up over the phone.

I wouldn't even visit this site if I hadn't already experienced their services. Don't sign up for anything unless you don't mind giving away free money (at least £9.95). They say that the fee is for processing and disconnecting fees.

I registered with MP3 Download HQ, and I found that they only offered links to free P2P sites. That kind of information can be found with any free search engine. I disputed, and they promised to refund my money, which never happened. After 2 weeks I returned the debit through my bank card. MP3 Download HQ mailed me with some offer in exchange for undertakings by me. I just got my refund, as there is nothing of value from them.

I am so cross with myself, I don't fall for things like MP3 Download HQ. I know now by reading other peoples reviews that I have been well and truely scammed and I have cancelled my card because of it. DON'T GO THERE.

The site is a scam. It claims that $1.49 will be charged every month for unlimited music, but my bill was charged $27.76. They did not acknowledge the fact that they will charge an additional $10 for spyware, which is NOT necessary. I didn't know how bad the site is until I got ripped off and then looked up its reviews. I wished I could've been smarter, but good lesson learned. The site should definitely be shut up. Please don't fall for it, like many of us who did.

We paid and downloaded limewire from mp3downloadhq and even paid for the pro version and it only gives you a very pathetic basic version i dont even think it is the real basic lime wire program. It seems all legit but as the others said when you download limewire it tells you you have been scammed that is the last time we use our visa on the net, I cant believe i was so dumb, but it makes me feel better that i am not the only one. Even though we should stop them. We will be contacting the fraud ...

MP3 Download HQ -I ended up at their site by searching for Kazaa Lite. They do not offer the program, but I only found out after paying the lifetime membership fee. When I called their tollfree number I had to speak with someone in India I could barely understand and she told me I would be charged $9.95 for cancelling. I had been subscribed for less than an hour.

The whole set up of MP3 Download HQ is dodgy. When downloading the programme it turned out to be Freeware and told me quite plainly I had been scammed. Nothing seems to work and all explanations are incomplete and leave you up in the air.
I found it immpossible to contact MP3 Download HQ. The website is very proffessional and leaves you with no suspicions until you down load the programme
Although it confirms that the site is fully legal first time you attemp to download you learn that it is ...

I feel I was misled into accepting MP3 Download HQ terms, conditions and cost. Advertised as 99 cents per month for downloading music and movies. Taken to payment site where I gave my details and £31 (extras added on) was deducted from my account. When I went to use service I was taken to Limewire which is a free music downloading site anyway. This company gives a contact E-mail address which is incomplete and unobtainable also give USA phone number but I think I skip on that.

I agree with all the other MP3 Download HQ reviews. They offer freely available software, using commonly used search engines (e.g. Google), and links to common p2p sites (Napster, Kazaa etc.)

A fool and his money are soon parted, and I'm a fool still trying to get my money back!

How I wished I found the MP3 Download site before I signed up for that lame mp3downloadhq....

I cannot believe they actually charge so much for similar programs that can be downloaded from the net for free!!

They also promote the use of P2P software which RIAA are not exactly encouraging.

I ordered subscription with MP3 Download HQ and started downloading music. I found that the burning program (Burn 4 Free) did not work. I called customer service and was told I could get no help for the program, and that I must have done something wrong. When I asked to speak to a manager I was transferred to a mailbox that was not open.

I can't believe I got suckered in by the slick looking MP3 Download site. They have nothing to sell. Even their tutorials were wrong or incomplete.

As soon as I realised, I got an E-mail that said I was being billed for more than I had authorised.

I notified my bank to deny payment. I will re-post the results.

I was fooled by the nice looking interface of www.bittorrent.net, but when I registered, hoping to be able to download videos and MP3 faster, and freely, I was redirected to www.mp3downloadhq.com which has nothing to offer but freeware. I can find a lot better at www.download.com. They said there would be a user-id and password, but log-in was actually done by typing my email address. How unprofessional.

MP3 Download was not at all what I was looking for - a single point to download MP3s. What they offered is what anyone can find by browsing the WEB. May have some value by assembling lots of links for you, but not worth what they are asking.

While registering, I did not like the little check boxes, scattered across several pages, which incurred additional expenses if left checked!

I must say that I was impressed by their customer service which canceled my subscription with no objection ...

Same experience with MP3 Download like all the others. I'm so stupid, I didn't find this site before and read it. I signed up, but now a days it's more expensive. I payed although for movies, cause they "can't select" if you downlowed videos, dvd or movies so you pay. All together I lost € 48.
I hope I am the last person who was that stupid.
I hope there is any possibility to stop them.

In my opinion MP3DownloadHq is a RIPOFF. Beware. Very deceptive marketing. I was looking for an iTunes like store and bought this. Boy do I feel really, really stupid. There is no music to download here, only links to P2P freeware.
