Good Points: Good picture and sound for what it is.

General comments: Bought it about 2 to 3 years ago. Hardly used it, maybe 6 times. It has now decided to stop working. Every time I put a disc in, it comes up no disc or wrong disc, even with the discs I've used before. Tried cleaning the lasers but to no avail. Not impressed. The Goodmans GDVD 67 is the second Goodmans item that has gone west. The first was a CD player.

After about 1 month the my Goodmans GDVD dvd movie would just stop in mid frame and then start up again about 2 minutes later. Then it started to not start up and I had to shut it down and start the movie over. Then it started to not load and says to check DVD. Then it work again for about one week. Now I can't get any DVD to load. Any suggestions?

The Goodman GDVD 67is now at £85 in Tesco, its excellent value. Plays DVD home recorded formats, I've tried both DVD-R & DVD-RW so far. Data backups of my PC files (NERO) containing both Photo's and music files replayed OK.
    CD-RW playback, same as DVDs
Comes with cables for TV including COAX for older sets.
Screen colour and brightness adjustable enough for normal viewing.

At £99 I thought the Goodmans GDVD 67 would be worth a go, I've now tried all my copies even a dual layer copy and it played it fine. Tried with MP3, JPG, VCD and Audio CD and handled fine.

Fairly light, and a lot lighter than my slimline laptop that I used to use when working away.

    Would recommend at this price.

The Goodmans GDVD 67 is half the price of most other portable DVD players with 7" lcd screens.
The player itself feels quite cheap, it's made out of plastic and the build quality isn't great, it feels like a really cheap laptop - I guess this is to be expected at the price.
The playback is good, the sound seems good from both headphones and the built in speakers.
The screen only has adjustments for brightness and colour, a contrast adjustment would be very useful as the picture tends to look ...
