    Good Points: Great size, soft acceleration, very reliable.


    Bad Points: VERY annoying sensor for seat belt, even when the car is in parking mode. I always fasten the seat belt when driving but if I am parked heating up the car why should I need to be buckled up? Even almost 2 years with the car and it keeps annoying me. Please consider programming the sensor to when the car is in movement. Also, the brakes make a funny noise since the third month of use. The fuel lid is tied to a plastic in a very lame way and it falls easily while refueling.


    General comments: Hopefully these comments help enhance future forester models.

    I just rented one of these Subaru forester SUVs for two weeks. We travelled over 2000 km without a hitch. The car was comfortable on long drives of over three hours. It cruises along at 140 - 150 km/h without complaint. The fuel efficiency was good even with the air con on. Air con wasn't that great at high outdoor temperatures. I would definitely buy one of these if I had cash.
