“Anthony Horowitz, Stormbreaker”

The book STORMBREAKER by Anthony Horowitz is a thrilling book starring a fictional character named Alex Rider. He starts off as a normal teenager attending school and pursuing a fairly normal life when his uncle 'accidentally' dies. Alex is dumped into a new world as an underage M16 operative. Armed with toy-like gadgets, Alex must undertake his first mission and discover the cause of his uncle's death. Stormbreaker is a great read, suitable for both genders and suitable for people from the age...

The Alex Rider books are brilliant for a decent children's age range, I began reading them when I was 7 and enjoyed them until 12. I am nearly 15 now and though they are an easy-read and clearly unrealistic at my age now, I feel that I will have to read his final book, simply because I grew up with half of the books and I would like to see how we will end the series. Stormbreaker was probably the second-best of his books after Scorpia (book number 5) as it captured you right from the beginning thoughout...

Stormbreaker is very well-plotted and wittily written, but somehow feels emotionally flat. The first few chapters are brilliant but it goes a little downhill when Alex Rider arrives at Sayle Enterprises; there are no likeable characters besides Alex himself, and therefore no-one for him to interact with and express his feeling to. The only secondary character I did like was Nadia Vole, but in the climax she suddenly became an evil maniac which didn't suit her character at all, and it felt as if...

Great storyline, and good it was a teenager as the main character and someone good, rather than hanging round on the streets. Some of the parts were a bit too over the top, but that is just my opinion. Anthony Horowitz, Stormbreaker is an excellent film, thriller for any age. FABULOUS!!!...

Anthony Horowitz, Stormbreaker Review; Alex rider is the 14 year old nephew of a secret-agent. All too soon he is sent to finish the job his uncle had started. That is to find out if there is something evil about a small man giving out advanced computers called stormbreakers to every school in England for free (which by the way doesn`t sound suspicious at all)....

I really recomend Stormbreaker. Even in the first few words I was sucked right in to the action. It was probly the best book I have ever read. It was a cool mix of suspence, action and everyday life. This book is about a kid named Alex Rider. Alex gets sent out on a spy mission to save the world. But i'm not going to tell you what the mission is am I?. Nope I'll save the fun for everyone else that wants to read it....
