Brand New, Deja Entendu - Brand New are so cool, they rock, especially their song Guernica. I've loved them for about 2 years. They're still my favorite band. I'm waiting for their third album. I love them!!!

First of all, I've heard a couple of Brand New's songs, 'The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot', 'The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows' and 'I Will Play My Game Beneath the Spin Light' but I think I can honestly say goddamn! This band is absolutely awesome.
The lyrics are passionate and emotional, while the guitars are absolutely sensational. Brand New are awesome! Get the CD because, goddamn, it rocks.- Read PJ M007's review (135 words)

Wow...What can I say...Brand New amazed me with their first release ("Your Favorite Weapon") and they have managed to do it again with Deja Entendu. First off, before listening to this I must warn you: YOU CAN NOT BE CLOSE-MINDED ABOUT YOUR MUSICAL TASTE! Yes, it IS different than "Your Favorite Weapon" but after a while, you will realize, the change was for the better. Also...Jesse's lyrics are simply amazing. Now..a run-down of the tracks.

Brand New's Deja Entendu is one of the most heartfelt and inspiring albums I've heard in a long time. All the songs are magnificent. My favorites being "The boy who blocked his own shot" as well as "Me vs. Maradona vs. Elvis" - the ending of "The boy who..." rips my heart out - I love this Cd - It is a must have.- Read youknowhowido13's review (65 words)

Brand New is the best band hands down out today, impressive songs from both CD's and especially this one makes them a band that people can always listen to in every mood. The way Lacey describes every emotional feeling he can think of is incredible, and certain lines from various songs such as "I will lie awake and fake the way I hold you, and let you fall for every empty word I say" or, "Is this, the way a toy feels when its batteries run dry?" and others like "despite everything he learned fro ...- Read gmacsuball's review (307 words)

Brand New are definitley the best band i've heard in a long time. With inspiring words in all the songs, they talk about real life like no other.Suprising first c.d. Off the charts in my books. Possibly the best first c.d. of any band ever.- Read punkrockfan47's review (54 words and 2 comments)

All in all the Brand New Deja Entendu CD is quality. Brand New goes above and beyond the stereo-typical pop-punk/emo band label. They no longer can be fitted with a genre. The new material is mysterious and melodic with lyrics that may soar over many ignorant listener's heads. The slow pace of the record should not inhibit anyone from giving it a chance- Read LiveAMovieLife's review (156 words)
