They trashed my bag. Name tag broken in half (hard plastic) and "spinner" wheel broken off. They say (via letter)they are not responsible for wheels, which is wrong if they mistreat the bag. On top, they charged extra for checking the bag.

Why is this airline always delayed??!? I have always experienced delays with US Airways, and I won't say the others don't have the same issue.. but this airline goes beyond that. I say, if you've got all the time in the world to get to your destination, then US Airways is the airline for you.- Read Guest's review (55 words)

While on a flight for my aunt's funeral, US Air had overbooked the leg from Phoenix to Charlotte. My daughters and I agreed to give up our seats for what was billed as free tickets for anywhere in the US that US Airways flies. I have always had good success with this airline but would never agree to this again. Today is 1/22/2010. 6 days ago we booked a Carnival Cruise with US Air. Today the price went down $70 per person for the same category we booked, we had booked 2 cabins/ 4people. Neither US Air or Carnival would do anything, including giving us an upgrade. They had our money and so screwed us big time. Never do business with these people. It would not have cost them a dime to give us an upgrade for the money we paid, but they refused. No refund, no online credit, no upgrade. Just screwed. I had the worst nightmare ever! I book 6 continues flight in my 1 week vacation with us
airway, i took 1st flight and my luggage was lost and delayed. and the 2nd flight is late
for 2 hour ! and then i decide to drive to my destination . after i arrive at 3rd flight.

Dear Sir
I would like to officially complain about the awful service that your airline and staff afforded me on my recent vacation to Florida.
First, I would start by stating that I have never used your airline before but have travelled to the United States on more than 10 occasions in the last 20 years and yours is singularly the worst service I and my family have been afforded.

Our first trip to Florida last year as a family and we had already booked a Villa in Orlando so i set about getting flights to coincide with the dates. We flew with US Airways and NEVER AGAIN... there was nothing comfortable at all about this flight, no little touches to make your 7 hour journey across the Atlantic pleasurable at all! Nothing for children to keep them entertained...luckily, my daughter (8 at the time) is brilliant at keeping herself amused, with books and music. After paying over $700 for last minute tickets, we arrived to discover we did not have seats. We voluntarily took a different flight in exchange for a free ticket. Now that we are tyring to redeem that ticket, we cannot get out on the days we want to (and have already booked our room for)even though there are 20 flights leaving that day. this is my second time having an issue with this airline. They yet again lost my bag and this time they didnt just forget to switch it to the other flight they sent it to a completely different airport. they make you pay to check in a bag just to lose it. The comfort of the flight is horrible if your on there for more then an hour. sure they give you a free soda or juice but $7 for anything else even to eat. I am a Gold Member on this Airline and have always ben appauled by their customer servive. Unfortunatly, living in PHX I am normally held hostage to their schedule.
I used miles to Fly my 80 year old mother form FLL to visit me for the holidays. How about $ 120.00 in baggage fees to start. She told me flight attendants were very rude to her on the outbound. Unbelievable. A 9 hour (!!!) cross country flight with absolutely no entertainment. I'm talking about NO music to listen to on headphones, no movies, no TV no nuthin'. AND some of the stewardesses etc were a bit snippy. Free soda or juice or coffee is about the best I can say for it. The three year old behind us kept saying, "I want to get off this plane!" This is the worst airline! I booked morning flights because my 6-month-old son was having painful teething and became miserable after noon, but they over-booked the flight (which would have been fine, but it was around the holidays and everybody showed for their flight), and cancelled it! We sat around the airport for hours, had a longer flight with a further layover, and my son screamed the whole way. The idiots booking the flights should be fired! Worst airline ever. I went on them 2 months ago and still haven't received my baggage! Flight attendant grabbed my shirt dragged me to the galley and started yelling at me because I asked if she could be a little bit nicer. The food tasted like it was made fresh from a toilet! Id rather walk 3000 miles than take US Grossways! Problem: US Airways are the worst airline ever. Answer: TAKE jetBlue!!!!! Thats your best bet. Flying on US Airways was like flying through hell. I have a few things to say anout this airline. When we flew with this airline it was a transfer. We flew United Airlines but there was a issue that caused us to go here. When we got on board the plane was clean and the flight attendants were great! They had a big smile and they talked to you like they really cared. Both flights were delayed because they had major weather problems. I found it very responsible that they took such actions. TERRIBLE !!!!!! DO NOT TOUCH !! Highly unreliable.
Flights cancelled or non existent.
I needed to fly Manchester to Billings and the only airline I could get a ticket with was US Airways.
I arrived at Manchester to find out that it had been cancelled (US735 22.09.09)and had to catch a different flight the following day. I stayed the night in Manchester then, due to missing my connection, a further overnight stay in Philadelphia.
The return journey has proved to be even more difficult.

This airline is a scam. It is a waste of money. You would be better of taking your ticket money flushing it down the toilet and walking to your destination and you will probably get there faster. I was screwed out of over 150.00 in hotel fees for canceled flights and them charging me twice to check one bag. Don't waste your time on this airline. Don't bother to upgrade on domestic US Airways flights. The seats are wide, but that is the only difference for the money (and you do get a poor quality meal.) Not worth the extra money.- Read vertu's review (35 words)

Absolutely the worst airline we have ever flown with primarily due to the extremely poor customer service. Delayed in Cancun for 3 hours so we missed our flight to Vancouver. Next am back at the airport we were told they had no record of us flying with them even though the agent was holding our new boarding passes that were issued by the airline the night before.
