I have never had such bad customer relationship experience as I had with US Airways. If you change your flight they will charge you $150 but your confirmation says $100. I emailed scott.kirby@usairways.com President of US Airways but no response.

Flight from philidelphia usa to manchester uk was astonished when flight crew stated to move people all over the cabin so they could have two rows of seats at the rear of the cabin to sit there fat arses down your supposed to be working no wonder your airline is in such a dire state when you race around the cabin then sit or lie down for 5 hrs never seen this before on a european carrier- Read Guest's review (76 words)

I must say I was worried about flying US Airways because of the horrible reviews I have read. I was very pleased with everything. First of all I knew I was flying coach on a smaller plan and did not have my expectations set too high. I signed up to get text alerts about my flight and was told the flight was approximately 30-45 min late becuase the pilot needed the appropriate rest time. I am ok with that. Terrible Service, predatory policies, customer service took 45 minutes then hung up on my intentionally whilst I was being polite. I would pay about 100 USD extra to avoid this airline in the future.

I've been flying for a number of years as my home is not in the US but in Europe. I've used several airlines during my travels and never had any reservations about flying as most companies did a good job.
I was moving from Hawaii to San Antonio, Tx and needed to find the cheapest tickets which turned out only US Airways had at the time. Cannot believe this airline is still in business. I did my fair share of flying and I understand that things happen that are just out of anyones control. I actually never wrote a review about an airline although I experienced delays, poor customer service, lost baggage etc because sometimes, things just happened and it is no ones fault really. Read really bad reviews on US Airways. Was extremly suprised, check-in Very easy (flew with two other people and was checked in in 5 mins max), flight from Manchester - Philadelphia was comfortable, good films/programs/music on private tv screen, Excellent flight attendants, good food. Philadelphia - Las Vegas, no TV screen (at all) on Internal flights, but good food, friendly service, both flights on time. The posted reviews made me apprehensive about flying this airline; however, I was pleasantly pleased. The flight was on-time, and there was no difficulty with the connecting flight. I appreciated the customer service. I was not pleased with the $20 fee for checked baggage, as the other airlines charge $15. I was under the impression that the fee would be reduced if the bag was checked in on-line, but this was not the case. Overall, it was a positive experience.- Read Guest's review (78 words)

My plane was cancelled and we had to book with another airline to get back to Phoenix, which was over 4 hours later. In the process my husband and I did not have seats together and we had to take two flights as opposed to a nonstop flight which we had booked.

My Christmas eve wit US Scareways
Man what a sorry excuse for an airline! My wife, 4 months pregnant, and I were flying to Philly on Christmas eve and scheduled to arrive at 4 pm to have a nice family dinner with my wife's parents.
It became a horror story. MDT to SAT June 2009: HORRIBLE Airline. Late takeoff, nearly missed my connection and then when I arrived in SAT my luggage was lost and THEY HAD NO IDEA WHERE IT WENT. Then by 10pm that night (I arrived at Noon) the luggage arrived, totally broken suitcase, ALL MY FAMILY GIFTS DESTROYED incl new presents for my baby niece and my presents for my frail and elderly mother. It was my first time flying so I was a little nervous but excited. My husband and his two sisters had flew many times before. Even they were very dissatisfied with US Airways. The seats are very uncomfortable and cramped. Their was no real food available just snack items that cost to much. The plane itself was very old and my sister in law keep saying things like, "I never heard a plane make that noise before." It felt like we were on a bus or something similar. Yet another bad story for US Airways. Flying into Philly for our connection, a US Airways jet is broken down at our gate. We sit on the tarmac and move closer to missing our connection (on US Airways, still). Making a long story short, we miss the connection by less than two minutes. No reschedule until the next morning. No bags either, though somehow they made it on to the connection flight they refused to reopen for passengers!! Whatever you do, don't get on a US Airways flight without a strong and filled stomach. Case in point: the Aug. 22 Flt. 799 from Philadelphia to Seattle.
The packed plane was delayed from taking off for two hours while passengers listened to a running series of petulant, scary, and increasingly pessimistic comments from the pilot about some sort of electronic problem that needed to be fixed and approved. Finally, to everyone's relief, the pilot announced that "they" had fixed "it."

I have been flying for 20 years and this US Airways is the oldest plane I have ever ridden on, including the ones I rode 20 years ago. Everything was dirty and the flight attendants were rude. The bathroom was next to my on my connecting flight, and it smelled like a portopotty the whole time. Awful- Read Guest's review (55 words)

It has been an absolute disaster flying with US Airways this August. In my nine day trip to USA, my flight was cancelled twice, going to USA and coming back to london. Once the flight got cancelled, all the US airways staff disappeared and made us wait two hours in heathrow (that was after us waiting 5 hours for the flight not taking off). Horrible..Horrible.....
Flight was 4 hours delay and in Philadelphia US Airways staff took 20 mins to connect jetway to flight to make people our from flight. US Airways staff behaviour is very bad and they could save 20 mins by connecting jet way to flight while waiting flight in gate. Never travel in US airways.- Read Guest's review (53 words)
