Good Points: change of scenery once in a while, opportunities to earn good money, keeps you fit, can be very enjoyable and rewarding.

Bad Points: weather can totally stop you earning, no sick pay, work can run out from time to time, can be tiring.

General comments: I'm a bricklayer, i build private houses, however i would say large site work is your best bet as theres a forklift on site to get materials up to scaffold height which saves on time. i have to carry all my materials up a ladder. getting a 'start' on a site can be difficult as site agents are very wary of newcomers thanks to thousands of cowboys out there. be prepared to save when earnings are high as bad weather and lack of work can often stop you earning, after weighing it all up, its still quite a well paid job and quite rightly so from an effort point of view.
