exremly delicious food prepared perfectly and served in a warm but professional atmosphere.

Every bite of every dish was delicious, there are very few restauraunts in the area that compare to the quality of food served here.

More expensive than an average meal, but same price as trendy bars in town which charge inflated rates for poorly prepared pub food. Theobolds is a family run business which has lasted for twenty yers, providing a consistency of quality and service that does not hold... (read more)

“I have been to Theobalds French and English Restaurant...”

I have been to Theobalds French and English Restaurant several times before and it has been very nice but this last visit was disappointing for me. Prices seemed to have risen and portions seemed smaller, potatoes for four were not enough for two persons. The runner beans were under cooked cold and hard i had the vanilla rice with fruit compot this was priced at £7. the rice barely covered the bottom of a small bowl with a teaspoon of very cold fruit in the middle.
