Good Points: Excellent accuracy and penetration, great price, shoots very well with pump rifles.
Bad Points: Dirty, too much pellet dust in the tin.
General comments: Maybe 5 or 6 years ago the Gamo Magnum .177 cal were my favorite pellet and Wal-mart suddenly stopped carrying them. I missed them over the years so I ordered 1000 a couple weeks ago. I pulled out the Airmaster77 and went to work. First thing I noticed is the old pellets weighed in at 8.2gr and these new ones weigh in at 7.9. The overall quality and uniformity of the new one is a lot better than the old and it shows in the accuracy. I could hit the same hole at 15 yards 3 out of four shots, making me think I had missed the entire target. I never had groups like that with the old batches. These pellets are great. My next batch may be horrible, but this batch is excellent other than too much dust in the can. I wouldn't recommend these for high powered springers because they will overpenetrate small game, but for Walmart/Kmart pump rifles, these are excellent for hunting small game out to 35 yards.

I have a beeman 1041 and i use these pellets for gettin rid of the odd squirrel or small game hunting. These are one of the best pellets i have shot. i hit a squirrel in the ear with these and the pellet entered (nice enter hole) and exited(nicer exit hole) like a hot knife through buter. the pellet hit a wheelbarrow 5 feet away on the way out. i love this pellet for hunting but i think its a little overkill on squirrels and anything smaller, great overall pellet i would reccomend this to anyone ...- Read squirrelassassin1994's review (113 words and 1 comment)

These pellets didn't shoot accurate in any of my guns. It may just be my guns or I might have gotten a bad batch but they didn't shoot well at all. I couldn't even keep them on the paper at 30 yards.- Read patgreen123's review (46 words)

The
Gamo Magnum pellet coming out of a Winchester 800x is very efective on small game, but over penetrates real small game. This pellet will not fit in smaller guns such as my bro's Gamo Delta.- Read USsoccer114's review (48 words and 1 comment)

I've tried Gamo Magnum .177 cal (4,5 mm) in a Gamo 1250 Hunter and Shadow 1000, with the same results from both guns. They do not shoot consistent groups.- Read teleamp's review (30 words and 1 comment)

Gamo Magnum .177 cal (4,5 mm) - I have tried a couple of tins of these magnums and am not overly impressed. They dont seem to fit smoothly into the barrel of the gun (.177 caliber) and I have better accuracy in my particular gun with other brands ( the gun is a winchester 1000x. I like Crosman personally they are more accurate, consistent and cheaper to boot.- Read sylent squirrl's review (80 words and 1 comment)

Gamo Magnum .177 cal are my favourite pellets since 1996 when I discovered them. They are very accurate despite the low price. I found these pellets excellent for hunting, opposite to the airgunner's dogma that flat pellets give bigger part of their energy to the target. The cone tip of these pellets works like a wedge and I hunt with sucess rabbits and squirells with low powered old IZH-38 and Slavia guns. As an illustration - try shooting with wadcutters at eggs, let's say from 30 meters and w ...- Read batch003's review (264 words and 1 comment)

I bought a PT-80 Gamo Co2 pistol and shot off one of these pellets at a 2x4 peice of relativly hard wood. I put in a new Co2 cartridge and did the single action. The pellet peirced all the way up to the edge of the skirt and had a very straight trajectory. I had a large amount of trouble trying to pry it out with my fingers...
I Have not tried this hunting yet, but would like to see the reuslts on a squirrel.- Read KreigHund's review (92 words and 1 comment)
