Good Points: Its just so good and the horses and ponies are fresh lively and happy
Bad Points: Could not find any even when your lesson has finished you feel welcome to stay around and you dont feel like they just want your money but they want you to enjoy there horses
General comments: The whole yard feels comfortable and nothing is to much trouble for the staff

We have always been made to feel welcome.
The horses are very well looked after, and a pleasure to ride. They are rested often to keep them happy, and this shows.
The prices are very competitive. The livery horses are beautiful and win lots of competitions outside of the stables.

I started riding around about 2 years ago at Finlow hill and really love it. The riding instructors are really nice and the horses are kind, well trained and very gentle.
In the last 2 years, I have leart to walk, trot, canter, jump and lots more fun things to do.
Each year, they put on a show and it's really funny. There is dressage, show jumping and cross country.
I think that it is really fun and challenging at Finlow Hill with great teachers that care about you, and horses that are well ...

I have been riding at finlow hill now for 4 years. I started off when i was young and didn't even know what the thing you sit on was called.I started off down the lane which is where the begginers start off and get lead and after about 7 months down the lane ( I wasn't very good at controlling the ponies by myself! )
I moved up into the bigger arena. I was nervous at first but after a while got used to it. I learned so much and was improving by the second. Suddenly, i lost all confidence and wa ...

The stables are relatively unknown and some individuals may favour a school with an indoor arena. I am, however, sure that even a fair weather rider would be converted once they see the beautiful views from the outdoor arenas and/or experience a hack across this unspoilt part of the Cheshire countryside. Riding is an outdoor sport and it could be argued that the lack of an indoor arena makes for a more aware and competent rider.
I would recommend the stables to anyone who is looking for high ...

Finlow Hill stables is perfect for any rider, novis or experienced, you can have group or private lessons. The horses are fab. Big horses and small horses. Not every horse is not always well behaved but the teachers help you with any kind of problems. Jumping is the best and cantering is also brill.
I have only been riding 1 and a half years and I can jump thanks to all the teachers. You can also go on pony days and choose what ever horse you want to go on and you have to muck out groom and you ...

I have been riding/working at Finlow for about 7 years. It has changed so much for the better! It is situated in an ideal location with lots of peaceful hacks to ride on away from busy roads. Finlow Hill caters for all abilities - down the lanes (Lead) for beginers and group and private lessons for the more advanced rides. Finlow Hill also has a wide rnge of jumps to be used in the school and a cross-country course. They also hold some internal shows every year that are riden in by all standa ...

Finlow Hill Stables in Cheshire caters to all abilities, from gentle hacks to intensive jumping lessons! They also provide a full livery and school service! The riding facilities include hacks round the local country side, a floodlit menage, and a cross county field, which looks very impressive although I am yet to brave it my self. They also hold little jumping shows during the holidays in which the children compete.
As the yard is such a small place, individual care and attention is alw ...

Finlow Hill Riding and Livery is nestled close to the village of Alderly Egde. There are many horses avalible for use and are trained to a high standard. There is a floodlit menage as well as a field and paddock. Lessons are in the form or private or group lessons (for those who can already ride to a suitable standard. They also provide full livery and schooling services .
I have been riding there now for nearly three years and in the time I have ridden there, I have gained a few of the neces ...

I have been riding at Finlow Hill for about six years. All the teachers are well qualified and happy to work on what you want. The staff on the yard know what they are doing and will help you with whatever they can. There is a wide range of horses so whatever level you are they will find one to suit you. It is the best riding stables in the area so definitely give it a try.

10 years I've been riding at Finlow Hill! It's changed a great deal, but all for the better! This yard caters for everyone! Every horse is well looked after!! And they come in all shapes and sizes "as do the staff". We ride in any weather, rain or shine!! The staff are always very friendly and will to help! And will always talk you though things your not quite sure about. From Jumping, flatwork, hacks Finlow has it all! and I would never in a million years dream of riding anywhere else!
