Think Loopy Liverpool girl may have over rated her skills when she went and had a nasty shock! As horse riders know this is a really stupid thing to do - if anything play down your ability and let the school see for themselves during your first lesson, that way they will match you to the right horse next time. This stable has never demonstrated anything but care and consideration in matching horse to riders abilities but do have some stories to tell about people over rating themselves. Thinki ...

When I got off I refused to get back on him, so the teacher did and he threw her off! Before this I was on a horse that jumped out of the arena! I lost all my confidence at this riding school and stopped riding for a year until finally deciding to try again some whe ...

Tarbuck Green Riding School is a small family run stable where you will get the best tuition in a friendly and informal atmosphere. It's not posh so if what you really are looking for is a capuccino whilst you ride then don't bother. But if you love horses and really want to learn then this is just the place. The horses are well trained and of mixed levels.A superb coach/trainer she sets a challenging pace when appropriate to do so and is excellent at building confidence.
