The horses and ponies are lovely and kind and extremely good at being ridden. They are looked after extremely well as well. The staff are great and down to earth.you learn LOADS in there lessons as well as having fun. Its great for complete beginners on the lead rein or experianced riders who want to jump and do complicated exercises. You also get to hack out in the country which lots of schools dont let you do.Its a pony club centre and hold pony club days in the holidays where you have a lesson learn about caring for a pony and earn a badge or test it so fun! for less experianced children it also holds pony care days which are similar but easier. Its easily the best and you feel like your at home. a horse lovers dream.

You learn from the very best and learn all you need to ride a horse confidently and most important, comfortably. You can learn at your own pace and with a good horse who will help you to learn.

The horses and staff give you loads of confidence and you are taught a huge range of horse riding skills. The horses are amazing, the staff are friendly and the lessons are really worthwhile if you want to someday be a great rider

I loved stonerigg but the prices are so much and the block booking is too much and now i am looking at other options.
cheaper places where the lessons may be just as good.

When you first ride here they assess your ability & then put you in a lesson & with a pony/horse that is at your standard. The staff are all very friendly & very helpful & I would recommend it to anyone interested in horse riding.

Stonerigg Riding Centre in Cumbria is a great place to learn! They always teach you valuable things and always start from where you need to start. You are always put in a group to suit you and no matter how old you are (4 to 444), you are welcome. All the horses and ponies are brilliant and really help you along. You will love every lesson!!

The Stonerigg Riding Centre in Cumbria in my opinion is fab. I have been taking lessons for nearly two years, along with my 12 year old son who has come on in leaps and bounds. Now my 4 year old has started lessons and he too loves it. Stonerigg Riding Centre has given myself and my sons the confidence to one day be really great riders. For now, we just love learning with them, they make it fun and interesting. I have tried other riding schools in my area and none come close.
