Everyone is nice and talks to you, the ponies and horses are so nice the lessons are good with a very reasonable price plenty of fields and tracks to go on a hack. The vibe is great when you go, there is a variety of animals the like sheep, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea-pigs and even chinchilla's and all of the animals are friendly. Larkrigg Riding School Cumbria was not as good as I thought it would be.
They have lots of ponies and horses, the staff are friendly, you can tack up your own horses and they have a pony club. Unfortunately it is on a bumpy road and it is hard to find. Also, the lessons were quite boring.

I go to Larkrigg every weekend to ride and help. Larkrigg is a very quiet and nice place they have a 38 horses and ponies to ride including a little chestnut shetland called Twinkle. The biggest horse is Poppy and the smallest Twinkle. If you have a horse and want somewhere to keep it Larkrigg will look after it and you can go and see it whenever you want (if they are not full of course). The only bad thing is the bumpy road which is better than what it was.

Larkrigg Riding School is a Lovely place, set in gorgeous countryside right next to the river Kent and 5mins drive from Kendal. Easy to find although the bumpy farm track in can be a bit hair raising! Friendly helpful staff who make you feel very welcome. Group or individual lessons available for ALL abilities they let you move at your own pace and prices are very reasonable, about 15 pounds for an hour group or for half an hour individual. Free use of their hats and some other equipment. Rea ...
