“Jeans fall apart”

Owned Jeans 5 months and they fell apart. Not cheap and I was told nothing they can do about it. I even went to management at Zara corporate and they did not care. I just cant believe someone else has been treated the way I was treated! I brought a shirt from Zara and it had a button missing and I was unable to wear it. A week later I went into Zara Highcross Leicester and showed them the button was missing. The guy said the shirt looked worn and that they would not swap it. Are they for real?! I am an American citizen. Upon my trip to Barcelona, Spain I visited a Zara store. Upon exiting, amongst many other shoppers, the alarm went off. The security guard demanded that my son return to the store. I asked why, he said "just go back" in a rude tone and demeanor. “Rude Staff and Managers are Worse!”

I went into Zara Strartford today and was faced with ridiculous behaviour from a member of staff. I was waiting for my sister who was trying something on and a member of staff stormed at me saying Im blocking the way and continued being rude. Her attitude was unacceptable and abusive. “Bad Quality and Bad Customer Service”

The clothes fall apart after a few washings. When you order online if you want to return the items they have to receive them within 30 days of the order date. Zara staff are never friendly, but yesterday I was on the receiving end of downright rudeness in the Maidstone branch. I waited for ages behind two women trying to negotiate a refund on a clutch bag, but some problem with the receipt meant that it was taking a long time. My brother had bought a coat from the Highcross store in Leicester and discovered when he got home that it was actually tight and therefore one size too small when he tried to sit down with it on. “Bad customer service”

Some employees and Managers are rude and mean (different stores from Montreal and Laval and on numerous occasions). And Zara should allow for credit notes when we return a gift and cannot find a suitable replacement right away. Instead of competing with other major chains, I find that in the past few years Zara has been pushing away and losing important customers. (read more)

“Poor quality”

I think because they try to get the last trends quickly into their stores to capitalise on it they do not have any quality controls. When the Dark Knight rises came out they immediately started selling batman t-shirts, they looked good but after a wash they were completely destroyed. I've bought a lot from zara but was never really satisfied. I do not recommend this chain at all, you pay a high price for trendy products poorly thought. (read more)

Terrible. Terrible. The color on my Zara shopper tote rain when it rained. When I showed the manager how the color comes off with plain water, she basically treated me like a criminal and wouldn't even give me store credit or any relief. Same happened to me yesterday. I got the Bowling Bag and after the rain my hands and nail were black. Unfortunately the bag is sold out and I can't exchange. I sent an mail to Zara, I'll return and buy on eBay. I paid 139 Euros for it.

I have shoped at Zara for years the items i find look good but do not last. I had bought a girls puffa coat for school for 50.00 and the first week the lining for the pocket came apart thus items in the pocket falling into the bottom of the coat. I had a terrible experience at ZARA! I am in complete shock. I bought a jacket 2 weeks ago and it started to fall apart on me. The zipper malfunctioned and there was a hole in the pocket. One of the better high street stores for mens fashion. Forget about Burton, Next and what have you. Zara both caters for those on a budget and those that want the best. Well designed and made clothes with all the popular 'looks' on the shelves. “Customer service by ordering online is terrible”

I ordered something online, but I didn't even receive a conformation although they had the right e-mail adress. The website said my order would be delivered within the next 2 to 4 days. After 4 days, they just cancelled my order without telling me(I found out by logging into zara.com) They already took the money from my creditcard but they cancelled it because there was something wrong with the adress/billing adress. i've shopped in Zara for years now and always thought the client service was shocking. The Bond Street London Branch in particular. I just think that if you have 20 people queing why have one person at the till that not only serves but also deals with refunds and exchanges and then 10 sales assistants floating about the store?? some things are just common sense and this is at the Zaras around the country. But after the last three (yes three!) separate items I have bought have ripped in some way within a week or two of buying them I have really gone off Zara. I totally agree. It's all top dressing - lovely store to look around but the sizing is skimpy ( to say the least) and the quality is very poor. However, being lazy I ordered some clothes for me and my kids onLine. Awful, Awful Awful. Very poor quality, dreadful service. far too long for the box to be delivered and nearly a week later I am tearing my hair out trying to get them to collect. 48 hours to get an email to book a delivery slot then what they fail to mention is that you can't actually book a delivery within 24 hours (even tho' the website will give you that option) . When i phoned (yet again) to find out why I had waited needlessly in my house all day for no one to collect I was told - as if it was my fault, that the courier service can't organise themselves that quickly! Hey sort it!!! VERY VERY unimpressed.

I had bought a dress for my kid which after one wash made the inner lining stretch from the bottom n shrink from the top.when shown at the store the staff denies by saying it is a design element. when scanned on the system n the pic is shown it clearly shows thesub standard quality of the fabric used as a lining which made it stretch beyond the dress itself . I am surprised to hear so many negative reviews re: customer serivce at Zara stores. I shop very regularly at the Liverpool store for myself and my little girl. I love Zara. That is my problem. Some shoes can be dodgy, some coats are fluff magnets, the sales really could be cheaper, even more so when you know that in Portugal and Spain the same articles can be 20 pounds cheaper. Zara prices are slightly above other high street shops so it shouldn't come as a surprise that customers expect better quality service - meaning trained staff with good conduct, speaks politely and serves professionally. Although there probably wont be any response from Zara - I have asked for contact e-mail address but have not heard anything from them- I feel I must write to tell everyone how the shop layout is pristine but the fitting rooms leave alot to be desired. The dust is thick on the fittings and the floor is covered in fluff and dust. Bought an overcoat from them and its been incredible to me, its a great cut, the quality it as good as any i have ever owned, sadly i have worn it sooooooo much its starting to wear out on me.
