“Shockingly bad customer service”

Being a new online customer, I had a 10% discount code (plus others). At checkout put in the code and on an order for £123, I got £4 off. Immediately after checkout I emailed customer service with my reference numbers and codes. Had one brief reply saying form was blank and since then I've emailed them (getting acknowledgement "we will contact you within 72 hours" and that's it. “US customers beware - they don't care about you”

I am a Brit/American who recently moved from London to New York and I also had a terrible experience with Dorothy Perkins. I wanted to replace my jeans and ordered exactly as the label read without checking the size chart (I didn't think I needed to). They ordered a 10 and they sent a 14. I thought they made a mistake, but apparently when shipping to the US they automatically convert the sizing. “Ridiculed my husband when he collected my order”

Been using DP for some 20 years, I made 3 orders over the last 2 weeks and my husband went in to get my click and collect order. When he went in there he passed the printed confirmation and the woman replied "you dont look like a Sarah", obviously not he replied, "well you aren't a woman so why are you pretending to be one". “Horrendous Customer Service”

I bought a pair of boots from this website. While trying to choose a size, the sizing chart supplied was useless and didn't supply any measurements as to what constitutes a size 9 for them. It did say that US sizes are standard, and that shipping is not only free but "hassle free," so I took their word for it and ordered my size 9. “poor service mis-sized item came with makeup on them”

“Wrong product and terrible Customer Service”

First problem-- I bought shoes in a size US 8-- I received a size US 9. I checked my order confirmation over and over to make sure it wasn't my mistake, it was clearly their mistake and they sent me the wrong size. I emailed them 10 times, and called another 10 times! “Took my money twice, yet order was half the quality”

“Dorothy Perkins - terrible customer service & no parcel ”

I have ordered from Dorothy Perkins twice before with no issue. This time the parcel was not delivered. They use Hermes in the UK which I have also read a lot of bad reviews about. It took the tracking information 5 days to be updated to say that the parcel had been left in a "secure location" which it definitely was not. I've had a similar experience with DP, they cannot provide proof of delivery for my latest parcel. However because of several problems with Hermes before they will no refund me either...

I ended up writing a letter to the customer services and also sending a copy to the CEO of Arcadia group. I was contacted by someone in his office and I have now been refunded!

i really wish i would've did some more sluething about this place. i should've known when they didn't have any reviews on their actual site i shouldn't trust it. i ordered sizes i normally wear and they were at least 2 times bigger!!!! i could'nt believe it. and they want me to pay $30 to send it back to the UK!!!!! They don't say in theire returns section you have to pay either. I thought if i badgered them enough they'd return it, but your situation is a clear messup on their part and you had no luck, so i'm screwed. i think this is considere BAD BUSINESS... you should report them to the BBB. SUCKS

I got the dress I was hoping to wear to my bachelorette party and the quality was not what it looked like online. I wish I would have read these reviews before my purchase. I find it ridiculous that I bought I dress for $100 and when I needed to return I had to pay $25 for it to be shipped back. I live in the US and as a DP fan from when I lived in the UK, decided to order some clothes online. The clothes took longer to come than expected but I wasn't especially worried. However, the skirt I ordered was of awful quality and the top had a hole in the neck (in addition to the one you put your head through). I placed a order online with Dorothy Perkins which came to £128.13 which was debited from my personal bank card. 3 days later they took futher £438.50 from my personal bank card, and they denied this, I gave them the merchant number from my bank which they refuse to take, several calls back and forth getting my local MP involved and Trading standards five whole days later, Dorothy Perkins admit it is their error. I have now spent a total of 20 HOURS out of work hours waiting for the order to arrive at my work address, again no compensation has been offered for this. I have been told on numerous occasions and on one occasion by THE MANAGER that I would receive a call back with information on my order after discussion with the courier, I have yet to receive these calls. I was informed today that an investigation was being started by the team leader and I would receive a call before 10pm. It is now 10.15pm and I am yet to hear anything back. There is no direct contact with the courier company and each time I have called they have told me that they have spoken to the courier’s manager and the order is of the HIGHEST PRIORITY and will be delivered ASAP and definitely before 7pm that day – again no one has checked this and no order has been delivered. Each member of the customer care team has been “sympathetic” and “understands” my concern, yet NOTHING has been done about it. Each day I am phoning and have ran up a bill of around £50. This is a £250 order that they seem to think is in the back of a van somewhere and they have no idea where it is, have no contact with the courier directly, REFUSE to send out a duplicate order and will only refund the money after an investigation has taken place.

The dress I ordered was the wrong size and the color was completely off. I understand that the color varies a bit but the dress was aqua online and when I got it, it was a pale sage green.
