Good Points: Very sturdy car. Splendid road holding qualities. Very good acceleration with a 1600 ccm motor. It still goes like a bomb today with an Alfa 75 2,0 lt motor. The best family sedan for this kind of money in October 1978.
Bad Points: It could go rusty very quickly. One has to paint all rusty points over very quickly to stop rusting. When we bought it, in October 1978, with the same sum of money we could buy in Patras a new apartment of 4 rooms.
General comments: At the time we did purchased the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Berlina Classic Car, we were newly wed. We wanted a car which could go safely with 100 Km/hr, during a thunderstorm in the very bad national road, from Patras to Athens.
It had to be very beautiful, and it was such one, and should have four doors.
Its price was better compared to a BMW 316 or 318. Its salon was much better. Its design and acceleration was better compared to the BMW 316 or 318.
