Good Points: The fish!! Yum yum
Bad Points: There aren't any
General comments: If you're partial to fish, then this is the place, from Snapper, Monkfish to Turbet, I highly recommend. The staff are always helpful, friendly and attentive. The wine list is excellent. This restaurant is always busy, with a great atmosphere. The best place to eat in Braintree? I think so...

The last time I was here the waiter insisted on knowing who was driving. He then proceeded to watch me like a hawk as I nursed my one glass of wine. However, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and I shall return to this restaurant soon, but if it happens again I shall complain and not return.

The La Piazza Restaurant in Braintree will definitely become a favourite of mine. The area is lacking in good quality restaurants and this is one of the best! The food was excellent and service was also non intrusive but there when required, which I prefer. Highly recommended!

Staff at la Piazza in Braintree are very friendly & atmosphere is nice, however the food has begun to get worse as time passes. It used to be gorgeous but this time the menu was very similar, the pasta was bland, the smoked salmon was awful as was the mozerella which was slimey!

La Piazza is place is one of the best restaurants in Braintree (an area sorely lacking in good eating out places). Food is freshly cooked with a wide choice including daily menu specials.
The wine list is fairly extensive with a good selection of red and white (could do with a good french champagne).
The bar area is very small - would like to have some pre-eating drinks - when I come with friends etc

la Piazza Italian Restaurant in Braintree offers excellent Food and an extensive wine list. Food is cooked fresh to order and so can be adapted to your individual taste.
Staff are generally knowledgeable and attentive (but do leave you to enjoy your meal in peace - which I prefer).

Braintree, Italian, la Piazza: Ok, not the best service in the world but good food from the chef.

La Piazza is a very good restaurant in the centre of town supplying a varied menu which will suit most tastes. The staff are hard working and friendly. I have recomended this restaurant to friends who have also enjoyed their meals.

Braintree, Italian, la Piazza - Excellent, family-run Italian restaurant (just off the High Street). Parking available at Somerfield Carpark.
The restaurant has a small bar on entry and the dining area is split into 3 rooms (set at different levels). One room is available for smokers. (The toilets are situated upstairs). Menu is comprehensive with special set menus which run on Monday - Thursday.
