    Good Points: price, coated optics

    Bad Points: coin adjust turrets

General comments: I got this scope recently, without knowing what make it was, upon getting it home I properly identified it as an SMK 6x42 scope. The Scope looks very nice, its compact enough not to get in the way of a break barrels action, yet long enough not to look silly mounted on an air rifle. it has a very nice finish, both the tube and the optics, which are violet tinted, to attract light. I was planning to buy a Simmons 3-9x40 from my local gun shop, but I much preferred the crosshairs upon looking thru this scope, and changed my mind, the crosshairs go thick to thin much later than usual, meaning slightly faster target lock on, and more aim points. the turrets are coin adjustable, I'd much prefer finger friendly ones, but once its zero'd, you leave it, so its only a few small problm, one that which dosent get in the way. for airgunners that just like to point and shoot, this is a very simple scope, no extra features, just does its job, and does it well. I'd highly reccomend one for shooters that have a lowish-end price range rifle, such as a BSA lightning, Webley break barrel or a Gamo rifle. it suits them perfectly and can perform in conjunction with almost any rifle very well.
