I got this scope recently, without knowing what make it was, upon getting it home I properly identified it as an SMK 6x42 scope. The Scope looks very nice, its compact enough not to get in the way of a break barrels action, yet long enough not to look silly mounted on an air rifle. it has a very nice finish, both the tube and the optics, which are violet tinted, to attract light. I was planning to buy a Simmons 3-9x40 from my local gun shop, but I much preferred the crosshairs upon looking... (read more)

A nicely written positive review there gaz gun man.
Being an SMK job, I assume it's available from Budget Guns and Tackle? It sounds just the ticket ( or scope!) for my Custom B2.

I also have an SMK scope (4x20) and for the price, it has some very good optics. I used rifles with the deefield 3-9X40WA before, and obviously its not in the same league, but then it doesn't have the high price tag. Wll suited to the cheaper air rifles.
I have mine fitted to the SMK B3-F underleaver, and to prevent creap, placed the rear mount right at the back of the rails, so that it can t move.

The only downside to the scope is the adjusters, no click adjust, just turn a screw, with a spring underneath. Not sure how stable this is going to be, as I haven't yet got them set correctly.
