    I have owned this Panasonic SC-HT900 Home cinema for 6 years and still can't fail it against the new versions. Reliable never broke down. Easy to use once you know your remote control. Versatile can play most of the discs format Jpeg Mp3s etc and 5 different discs in the drawer is a pretty handy feature especially for music. With it's Optical and component plugs the sound and image are of excellent quality and compete with most of the more recent versions. The only missing feature is obviously blue ray! Highly recomended buy as value for money.

    Do noy but. This unit is unrelaible. It has a known technical fault, with a circuit board problem in the sub-woofer. This has been confirmed by Panasonic. This causes it to cut out.

    The Panasonic SC-HT900 is great value for money, far better sound then some very high end systems that I have used in the past. Its a great balance of budget and quality with hardly any compromise.

    I bought a Panasonic SC-HT900 to replace a Grundig system which was good for movies and had surprisingly good sound. I am very pleased with it, my previous system had trouble playing original CD's, this will play just about anything which is one strength. another strength is the 5 disk platten which means you can fill it with disks and let it play all afternoon. Now, I haven't tried it, but I'll bet you could put 5 DVD-R's full of MP3's into it and it would play solidly for about a week. This br ...

    The Panasonic SCHT900 DVD Home Cinema Systems is excellent, audio cds playback very well using prologic2 unlike the sony davs880/888 which just seems to echo around the room, loud and clear sound on dvd aswell. easy to use and so far very reliable.
    also a quick rotary 5-disc mechanism.
    does everything i want it to and more.
    what more could you want. another great product from the best brand in the world
