Good Points: I love the gun its quite powerfull.

Bad Points: The scope is a piece of junk so i dont use it i got a red/green dot sight and my 3-9 x 40 is coming soon.the scope i cant get it sighted in and i have to aim it on the left crosshair .i recomend the gun not the scope.

Like i said, the Beeman GH500 is a great gun for anyone it can go about 500fps im still ajusting the scope so i get shots near crosshairs and i recommend it for anyone who has vermin. I have starlings took a shot at one earlier missed though he was lucky i didnt have my scope done. It's cheap and easy to use, the triggers a bit heavy though. I recommend it for anyone. I was gonna buy a .22 but the smallest one was a bit to big and i didn't have enough money so i got this little gun.

I have owned this gun for about a year. I bought it for 50 dollars at Walmart. I sighted it in easily, got about half inch groups at 20 yards. I have killed a ton of starlings with it but I wouldn't recomend shooting at anything bigger. It's a good gun to start with, just not much power.

I was testing the power of this rifle from about 12 foot from a bean can
I was so disappointed when i saw it barely make it through the first side.

I've had this gun for over two years after upgrading from a Crosman BB gun, and it's the only gun I have. I paid the extra money hoping for a big difference in accuracy over the BB gun, with its rifled barrel. Accuracy is hit and miss, unable to sustain a decent grouping, but is still better than BB's.
Not too impressed with the heavy trigger which may be the cause of the poor accuracy, When I bought it the sales guy said it was one of the better triggers but I don't like it.

I would not give one of these to anyone. They need to rethink this one as it sounds like its going to fall to bits at any second.

I dropped a grizzly and a rhino at 100 yards with my first 2 shots! Actually the Beeman GH500 is not much of a killer with its low power (close range is a different story). I use it to keep unleashed dogs, foxes, etc. off my property. It works well in this capacity as it does no serious damage to the animal. I don't want them dead, just out of my yard. Great for plinking around too. I love the gun and highly recommend it.

The Beeman GH500 is a great first or even second air rifle, with a good 525fps, and with heavyweight pellets it is a good bird or rat killer. I have killed many vermin, so I would highly recommend this rifle for targets, but just get a .22 if you want to do some serious hunting!

I bought the Beeman GH500 gun with great expectations. But it was a complete let down. It wil not site in, I am all over the map @ 10 yards.

I just got this Beeman GH500 gun tonight and opened it up and went downstairs to site it in right away. The first thing I noticed is that it's heavy. I have a crossman 10 pumper and it feels cheap in comparison, although to be fair, it's ~ 15 years old. Wasn't too sure about the break barrel thing being too accurate since I've never owned a one before, but let me tell you, at 50-60 feet I can hit a dime fairly consistently. I have to keep moving around on the wood I'm shooting into or I'll punch ...

A friend and I fired the Beeman GH500 w/3-7x20 scope starting at 25 yards and after adjusting the scope got out to over 50 easily with great punch. It seemed to like Gamo Magnum pellets...although others did almost as well.. I would recommend it as a great plinker...with Gamo Round lead pellets we broke bottles at aprox 35 yards. Not bad for lead ammo at so little fps. Myself and everyone that fires it loves the little carbine and will be purchasing one soon.."Im not lending mine out!"

I purchased this rifle online after reading the above review. From the start, I couldn't get this rifle to group. Reading that it takes a break in period, and that you need to learn how to shoot a spring piston gun differently from a true firearm, I continued to shoot it in complete frustration. After a few months I have given up. I am returning it for a credit toward the purchase of a better quality gun. Apparently this "entry level" gun is very cheep and not adjustable, as so many spring p ...

I just picked up a Beeman GH500 Air Rifle with 3-7x20 scope after seeing it in an airgun show report. This cheap rifle was alot of
fun to shoot and real accurate at 10 Meters. After clamping down to a bench I was able to sight it with only a couple of clicks on the scope. The monte carlo stock comfortable was whether offhand or sitting. I was going to shoot 20M when I discovered the mag-power ring was stuck on 3x.
A check of stock at the airgun counter found another scope with a stuck mag ring ...
