I cannot get enough of this restaurant ! The staff are all welcoming and genuine and the food is authentic, Moorish and delicious. when there you are very aware that your not in a tacky chain restaurant like the many near-by dining areas. There is plenty of choice and you wont be disappointed with one of them ! i would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends. (read more)

We have been here twice now and will continue to and to recommend it. The food is just fabulous, especially the fish, which is fresh, light and delicious. The mezzas are meals in themselves and dishes keep coming as they are prepared. We love this place and the waitress, wife of the owner is highy entertaining if you understand her sense of humour! Her husband does the cooking and he is very obliging. (read more)

Where do I start!?! We arrived at Salamis to find the restaurant empty around 7pm. As I'm sure most of my fellow dinners would agree, when you go out for a meal the quality of food is extremely important but equally important is the atmosphere. So, because it was empty we decided to go to one of the nearby bars to have a drink, and then come back later. When we explained this to the waitress she was very defensive and dismissive, and asked us what was more important.. the food or the... (read more)

We have been here twice and it's a fabulous restaurant - wonderfully fresh food,cooked from scratch hence the wait! The waitress, wife of the owner, is a non-native speaker of English and thus comes across as quite brusque. She in fact has a great sense of irony which perhaps you din't understand

i myself usually stick to foods i know i like and took a big gamble of going to salamis for a meze, and i thoroughly found it outstanding and loved every dish served, the atmosphere is brilliant and the staff and chef cannot do enough for you, the resturant itself is very clean i would definately reccomend to everyone (read more)

Been there last night and was overall one of the best experience with a restaurant here in UK. Food is good (and with the set offer, even the biggest belly will be filled) and loved the belly dancing entertainment involving customers! Will go there nearly every week, and the owner recommended a different dishes, all the time.The fresh King Prawns and the fresh Fish its hard to find in town, but there, they are. Before they cooking, they showing to you, and you see what you get. Anyway, the food its fantastic and value for money. The atmosphere its cosy and friendly. I will really recommend to every body. It was the first time at Salamis Greek Restaurant, Peterborough, we had tried Greek food, staff were helpful and friendly. Plenty of choice. And the belly dancer later in the evening was entertaining. Good food, helpful staff. Only bad point toilets bit cramped. (read more)
